Personally I think it's pretty good to see most players re-signing with their original club. A couple of years ago, (when the titans entered i guess) there was talk that free agency was going to go nuts and loyalty was going to be a thing of the past. Sure theres still a few (Idris/Blair atm) but in the last 12-24 months, most players are committing to their club.

At the tigers they have signed up farah, marshall, lawrence, gibbs, ellis, heighinton, galloway all to longish term deals. Thats not a bad core to build on and they all seem to have a pretty keen 'tiger for life' attitude.

I'm sure a number of other clubs are in a similiar boat (not the bulldogs). From a fan's p.o.v if you can watch a player for 10-12 years...it really adds something to the team.

Isn't that the guy who can only play home games? He can't enter Australia because of his criminal convictions?

Pretty ordinary on the tits behalf. Of course I dont know what sort of money Friend is on, but given the titans talent pool is extremely shallow, they should be looking to keep some of their better players on, and Nathan Friend is one of their best. Good for him not settling on the titans terms

$300k+ for Friend, wow what would he worth if he knew how to attack.
Way overvalued if you ask me

Slater has re-signed for 4 years, allegedly only one contract was involved. ;-)
