Personally I think it's pretty good to see most players re-signing with their original club. A couple of years ago, (when the titans entered i guess) there was talk that free agency was going to go nuts and loyalty was going to be a thing of the past. Sure theres still a few (Idris/Blair atm) but in the last 12-24 months, most players are committing to their club.
At the tigers they have signed up farah, marshall, lawrence, gibbs, ellis, heighinton, galloway all to longish term deals. Thats not a bad core to build on and they all seem to have a pretty keen 'tiger for life' attitude.
I'm sure a number of other clubs are in a similiar boat (not the bulldogs). From a fan's p.o.v if you can watch a player for 10-12 years...it really adds something to the team.
