Not sure about the Kiwi jersey, the New Zealand head coach is the coach he just turned down!

Good luck to the kid, I hope he has a long and illustrious career at the Storm. Also do hope he gets picked for the ANZAC test!

Well Perrett is injured isn't he? Duffie has got to be in with a cracking shot.

I rate him highly, he's got a long NRL and Rep career ahead of him.

Clubs should be throwing lots of coin at Widdop. There's a lot of them that need a fullback or 5/8, which he can play both easily. He's a classy classy player

Good to see him staying with the Storm, his career might have gone down hill with how those Eels are playing atm.

I think he will play the ANZAC test, Vatuvei and Perrett out. Inu is probably the only one who is pushing him for the spot imo.

I heard he was on 400K at the Dogs, that frees up enough cap space to sign James Graham.

And they've still got a bit of Sonny-Bill's money leftover.

Jarryd Hickey on $400K???? Why? Who on earth rated him that good?

And im sure SBW isnt included in the salary cap any more.

Yeah he was definitely taking the piss.

Still......what the hell!? They sell a bunch of fringe first-graders and a few good players and then sign half the playing talent in the world?
They are on another planet.....literally and figuratively.

Chase Stanley To Return To Club In 2012

20/04/2011 12:26:59 PM

The St George Illawarra Dragons on Wednesday announced that Chase Stanley has agreed to a two-year contract that will see him rejoin the Club next season until at least the end of 2013.
Chase, 21, made his first grade debut for the Dragons in Round 2 of the 2007 season against the Newcastle Knights and played 41 games for the Club between 2007-2009.
The former Hurstville United junior is currently contracted with the Melbourne Storm until season’s end and is looking forward to the possibility of reuniting with brother Kyle, who recently re-signed with the Club for three years.
“There is a really great culture at the Dragons and that family feel is something I have missed,” said Chase.
“Playing alongside Kyle was a big factor in coming to the Club and the opportunity to play alongside him would be special and one I am looking forward to.
“I am very grateful to the Dragons and look forward to the opportunity to repay their faith in me.”
Younger brother Jamie Stanley, 17, has also agreed to terms on a two-year contract that will see the current Dragons’ St George S.G. Ball Cup back-rower remain at the Club until at least 2013.
Dragons CEO Peter Doust is happy with the signing of the Stanley brothers and is assured of the developing role the pair will play for the Club.
“The Stanley family are certainly very talented and we are delighted that the boys have chosen to sign with our Club,” said Doust.
“Playing together is important to them and it is great that as local juniors they will have this opportunity at the NRL level with our Club.
“Chase made his debut with our Club and left for Melbourne where he has continued to develop.
“He will be a valuable part of our squad when he returns next season.”
