Nah he's OK, Loudy is correct on the 'duties/responsibilities' aspect of liberties. In my opinion it really is a give-and-take type of situation. The problem occurs when we have to figure out how much give-and-take we do to all persons and agendas involved.

I'm a big Loudy fan, but I don't agree with him on this one (and he doesn't like me which
is fine).

That's OK, it's a free country. It's good we can all get on here and flesh out our opinions. It would be boring if we couldn't.

Loudstrat are you a dope, naive, a cop or a combination of all 3 ?

Lucky the coppers save us all from anarchy and can taser a bloke 6 times for stealing a packet of saos eh. How's the full investigation going on that one.

Cops investigating cops. f**k me dead.

However many there are, it would be tiny compared to the amount in the police and the director of public persecutions

Yes he does.

I feel very sorry for Craig Field. He has blown all his money on gambling, done some
incredibly stupid things (snorting coke ruining his career), and now killed a bloke with
an errant punch.

He isn't Martin Bryant, that is my point.

Yeah he's a real stand up guy, he was also 'wrongfully accused' of organising a robbery of the pub he was a manager of at the time. The guy has always been a scumbag

Example of ridiculous request for power: Any policeman killed in line of duty results in a never to be released life sentence. Who in their right mind would give that kind of power to the NSW police force.

This shows that you have absolutely no idea what you are on about. That is not a police power FMD you're a complete nutjob.

It's not a "power". It is (when & if it's passed through parliment) something courts can use of they see fit at the completion the judicial process, when someone is sentenced. It has not been passed & this is purely a reflection of what the general community expects.

Back in your hole, come back out when you have 1/2 a clue.

Oh dear.

The courts already have the power to jail someone who kills a policeman in the line of
duty to "never be released" if they see fit. It won't be something the courts "CAN use",
it will be something the courts MUST use. It represents the removal of power from the
judicial system and serves to make the police untouchable. Policeman are human
beings who are prone to corruption by the very nature of their job. They should not
be treated any differently to anybody else.

This kind of request would make an already corrupt police force more dangerous they
already are.
