TVNZ must be absolutely desperate for reporters when they put up with his bilge.

I thought/hoped monty was going to hang one on him a year or so ago, his treatment of McKinnon last night was just as disrespectful.

Pretty much every interview I have seen with Wadeo they always ask him about Brent Webb etc so I can see why he is getting pissed off about it.

Then they go and make a lameass story about it..."the way he arrived at the club still haunts him" or some bullsh*t like that.

Bearing in mind that anything to do with league on TV is rare as hens teeth shouldn't we be just a little bit grateful that Mr Stanaway took the trouble on our behalf?
I guess, to the powers that be in TV, if it ain't on field violence, to do with drugs, off field misbehaviour or Sexual misconduct then it ain't league.

That's what a mate of mine told me until I saw the interview. Then I basically put it into perspective by challenging my mate's abilities with comparison to someone else. He didn't like it and I'm sure Wade didn't either.

Are we talking about the turnaround that is happening now or one that's about to occur in the future. Because I'm hearing disquiet among the periphery of NZRL. Either these stalwarts are not accepting change as some of us often do at times or a querying the escalating legal costs that have amounted so far.

TVNZ are a pack of league hating pricks and Stanaway seems to be climbing the ladder in prickability.

The guy is there to serve up dirt, most (if not all) of his "stories" are there to discredit the code and provide some tongue in cheek humour for the old school union orientated employers.

There are a few good journos in this country who will give a fair and impartial account of issues with sporting codes they write about.
Stanaway is not one of these and seems to prefer interviewing his typewriter...

Cant blame McWade for being pissed off when confronted with a serial wanker.

Nothing TVNZ does in regard to League/Warriors surprises me even slightly. It's crap, and clearly obvious that Rugby Union is viagra for the TVNZ idiots.
However- Watch the ****wits jump on the bandwagon if the Warriors do well through the semis. All of a sudden they'll be TVNZ darlings, Close up will have features on our 'Brave Boys' and other kissass crap they come up with...then watch 'em drop 'em like a hot spud and stick the boot in if they lose. TVNZ Sports news is Rubbish. It's always annoyed me the way the boot goes in and a big deal is made of a Warriors loss, and if the Warriors win it's a smaller snippet and usually containing sarcastic shots (Generally expressing surprise at their success and other little clever angles).

Lol...they've started early this year just in case! Tonights TVNZ sports news led with the Warriors being title contenders!!!!!
It's all or nothing with those guys, if they're not sticking the boot in they're creaming themselves and mega hyping them. Why can't they just take it a game at a time and give the guys credit for a good weekend performance?!
Was nice to see League leading the news over Union though- And for positive reasons!

The 1st hour of his show was about how great the Warriors are too watch, and how bad rugby is going. He then brought in Hugh McGahan who said that they will finish 3rd, and then he spent 10mins talking about how awesome Price is and basically that he wants to have Prices babies

Price is the guest on Deaker on Sport this week

1 caller was on fire, saying the Warriors won't lose again in reaching the GF and playing the Storm
