North Qld went through a major hurricane early this year. Obviously this has had some effect on their crowds this season. But there crowds have been dropping each year since 2007. So their drop off in crowds is not something new this season.
Brisbane last year had very good crowds. This year they have dropped on average over 2,400 fans per game compared to 2010. But their average crowd this season is still better then what it was in 2005 and 2006.
Manly's average crowd this season has dropped nearly 3,200 over last season. But since 2007 Manly has been struggling for crowds.
As for Cronulla, well their crowds are up this season. They are averaging 12,752 at the moment. Which is their highest since 2009.
Round 12
41,000 Double header Manly vs Brisbane / Canterbury vs Gold Coast
18,000 Newcastle vs Parramatta
15,000 North Queensland vs Sydney
10,000 Melbourne vs Cronulla
20,000 St George Illawarra vs Wests
13,000 Penrith vs Souths
117k total, 16,714 average
I'm dubious of comparing average stats from this year to last, after all we have data for each team for 12 games last year over a WHOLE season while most clubs have only had 4 or 5 home games so far

115K this round will mean 2011 has caught up with 2010

Hopefully the Knights will get at least 22k for the Eels game, maybe more.
Aren't the crowds only down by about 32K after 11 rounds?
