with the Swans winning this afternoon, they will get a home preliminary final at ANZ Stadium. If Souffs somehow pull off an upset and beat Melbourne, this will create a dilemma as I would assume that either Bulldogs or Souffs will have to play their home preliminary final at SFS due to both the AFL and NRL prelimin finals being scheduled for Sept 21/22

The Swans can f**k off to Nauru to play their match.

Or we can play Sat night and Sunday afternoon, the AFL can have Friday and Ch9 can go eat a dick.

It's irrelevant anyway as Souths would have to win.

Beer prices are a reason for not going to watch a game? Another classic reason to add to the long list of pish poor excuses for not supporting your team.

The only complaint about expenditure to watch any NRL game is the price of a ticket.
All other expenses are self controlable.
FFS, there's a McDonald's outside ANZ. Eat there if you think the food is too expensive inside, and take a frickin hip flask if you want to get pissed.
f**k me there's some whinger's in this world.

19750 @ AAMI Park. Very good effort from the Melbournians considering the crappy weather down there. Will be interesting to see whether or not their preliminary final vs Manly/Brisbane/Nth QLD will be at AAMI Park (like it was last year) or if it will be moved to Etihad Stadium

I reckon if they play Brisbane (unlikely) it will be at Ethihad, but if it's Cowboys or Manly, AAMI Stadium

They only got 27k at Etihad against Brisbane in 09. Can't really see them moving it if they didn't move the Warriors last year.

Btw, there's absolutely no excuse if Townsville doesn't sell out tonight. For all the crapping on I've heard from some Cowboys supporters this year as to why they haven't got good crowds, tonight they're playing their highest drawing side in a finals match.

I really hope they don't move it. AAMI looks awesome when its packed and holds noise pretty well. Etihad half full will be shit... even against the broncos.

But remember, the AFL Grand Final was earlier that day so most of the potential non-Storm supporters to attend the game decreased. At the rate things are going, the Bulldogs will host their prelimin final on Friday night and the Storm on Sat night. The Sat night AFL Prelimin Final will be hosted by Sydney and the Fri night by Hawthorn at the MCG. So, there is no AFL match to compete against and if they draw Manly (and given the Melbourne/Manly rivalry over the last few years), as I said I would not be surprised in the slighest if the game got moved to the larger venue and furthermore, with the availability of the roof incase of inclement weather
