Can we just get rid of the hills please. The only way a hill works is in perfect conditons, any sort of weather and those who normally go to the hills stay away. Covered grandstands going forward please

Why wouldn't those people just go sit in the grandstand? There was plenty of room in the stands at Brookvale today.

A few support poles with a corrugated iron roof over hill wouldn't make brookie any worse.

I like how ast weeks game a Leichhardt PROVES we need more games at suburban grounds (and couldnt possibly have been an anomaly), but 7000 at Brooky, 7000 at Penrith and 6000 at Campbeltown dont prove anything...

Just like someone said, the thing it proves is that suburban grounds, on average, are terrible for wet weather

Something has to give, we are at the point now were the weather, ticketing, stadia and transport in sydney especially are dragging crowds backwards despite a product which is very strong.

Or maybe good crowds at Leichhardt proves Leichhardt deserves more games and consistently poor crowds at Campbelltown, Brookvale and Penrith means those stadiums deserve less?

Also I wish people would stop bitching about the weather until someone looks at the stats on rain affected games.

Every bloody year people say the rain is dragging down the averages when they forget it rained last year as well and the year before that.

If a tally was kept of rainy games then you could tell if a particular year was especially unlucky but I think you'll find there's been as many rainy games this year as there was this time last year.

What is the definition of a rain effected game? How much rain has to fall and for how long does it have to fall?

Gosh, if only there was some way to out smart this darn rain.

Hmmm, perhaps some kind of roofing material constructed into the shape of a roof over these grounds....

No that could never work. that why every other building in the world doesnt have a roof either. Oh wait...

That would be the job of the nerd who took the time to record it. Enough rain for a reasonable person to think it had a meaningful impact on the crowd.

Can the storm go sub 10. For a 4 game record

Shouldn't as the Dragons are one of our better drawing games.

But I can see you sitting at your PC waiting for the game to start to see if you will come in and whinge, cos we know if it's a good crowd you sure as shit won't come in and post about it.

Massive crowds, all be recorded at the troll cave.
Head bury sand,. No worries, back to the cave.
How was the weather at Canberra. ? perfect. Raiderdave will be having his head kicked in on the afl footy site,,,,,again.
He should be attending games to get them over 10 thousand.
I have Storm down at 12 thousand, that is their average.
