If you cut ticket prices by 50% you'd get double the crowd and the same profit.
No you would get 1.25 x the crowd and 0.75 the profit
Talk to Qantas about that plan

A simple, simple initiative by the NRL - with the State Government, pay for shuttle buses from Brookvale direct to the SFS, announce it a few times in the media - would surely get a few extra thousand fans across the bridge. It's brainnumbingly simple.
Coordinated shuttle buses directly to the ground from a few key points in the supporter suburbs should be run for every finals game. The NRL have the data and the cost-benefit is obvious.

This week won't be much over 20k. Sideline bays aren't even packed, limited SCG members, behind goals are scarce and the upper tier isn't even open. I'm thinking 20-22k.
David Perry's prediction of 19k might not be far off

They met over the road at the SCG a month ago and got over 27k, it's a finals game and manly bitch and moan and sabotage their own support and barely pull 20k. They are pathetic and don't give a shit about the game and only care about themselves.

Then don't go. Simples! When the cheap tickets are $40 for an adult and $100 for a family it's a little steep for the average working class family. Then you have parking prices at some venues then way over proved food and drink.
It really isn't an affordable night out.
They have plenty of fans. They just cannot get to games because of the weather, having families, wearing suits after work, having to catch buses, living here not there, breaking wind, not liking bridges, watching games on tellie etc etc etcManly have no fans. Embarrassing.
