Not only that, this shows the need for better stadiums.

The hill at Liechhart is going to be a mud patch and the stands wont be much better.

Compare that to a world-class roofed stadium that they should be playing out of (on a related note, Gallop is a twat) and you realise how far behind the times these teams are.

Roofed stadiums take the weather out of the contest. If we have one or two maybe, but every game under a roofed stadium would take a lot of the variety out of the game.

And people don't seem to go to ANZ and SFS and sit under cover either. If it's raining the hard part is getting to the game, not watching it.

So much potential for the Tigers. And the Eels for that matter.

Just need to get their shit right off the field badly, because they're completely inadequate on so many levels.

Somebody, anybody, have to build a stadium somewhere in West Sydney.
You only need to look at how outstandingly brilliant Suncorp has been for 3 teams, imagine a 55 thousand ground for Tigers, Parra Penrith Bulldogs and Wanderers. 5 teams.

Sydney crowds will boom if they build a decent stadium, same as Suncorp and it is not 100% covered from rain.
16 thousand Tigers, 12 thousand for strom on perfect day.
Gee the code is struggling with crowds.
Monday night Cows left to come, another blockbuster attended by two camels and a donkey.

Well sure, if you plan to watch it from your couch or our Leagues Club. But in terms of getting people to want to be at the game, that bit of certainty of a dry seat can do a lot...

Will be a sad day when we eventually move on from Leichhardt. Fantastic rugby league ground, seemed a great atmosphere watching on TV.

Amazing crowd considering the conditions. I don't know how it looked on tv but there were times when it was absolutely pouring. I was walking to the ground at 2pm and got drenched. At 2.40pm there was about 7-8k in the ground. They obviously flocked from all the pubs/cafes etc right on kick off.

Fantastic Tigers crowd to think on a perfect day LO would be near capacity. Tigers vs Eels can't come soon enough with the way both teams are performing should be huge crowd at ANZ. West Sydney NRL teams strike back this season.

Great effort tigers fans...

I guess it helps when people have already paid for their tickets

Thats the one advantage of a small ground
