Perhaps they just don't have many fans. That mystical 60,000 Manly fans from 2008 might not exist :shock:

My theory is most Sydney clubs have around 15,000 fans willing to pay week in, week out to watch a home game and around 2-5,000 who will folllow the team at away games. Add in another 15,000 or so who will turn up to big games and finals and then probably another 25-100,000 depending on teams who don't go to games but lay claim to being a fan of a certain club and watch RL on TV.

Soem clubs have a bit more, some a bit less but I would say this generally applies to most clubs.
