Nah, it was a Souths home game. That's why they moved it- they'd each get about 10-15,000 each at an empty ANZ down in Sydney so they brought the game up to Brisbane to better their crowd take.
, no - it was definitely a Broncos home game goose, take a look at the draw.

So who gets credited with the 50k? Bris and Dogs or 25k each?

Dunno. See what the stats site do is suppose. But you couldnt give both teams the full crowd, that would be inventing 50k people. Stadium had certainly empted by a chunk in the 2nd half of the second game.

Double Header is always considered a standalone match and gets it's own category in the stats. It essentially means that Brisbane and Canterbury's averages are subject to the 11 other home games they play.

Surely the average should be lower... there were 6 games that drew 94k, not 5.

Good turnout for the Tigers btw, considering they were playing an interstate team.

You come up with a better way to do it... Splitting them up into two crowds isn't achievable unless you had a supporter count of each side, and dividing it down the middle is hardly fair.

Two games attended by 50k people equals a mean of 25k people per game.

Sure, working out how to allocate the 50k people between the two games is problematic, but this isn't an issue in terms of overall round performance and clearly from this perspective the most representative approach is a simple mean.

Well the Dogs and Brissie had a formula as to how they were going to split the profits. Maybe you could drop Greenberg an email?
