Very true. I don't want to take anything away from the achievement of a club in Sydney selling out a suburban oval with a crowd that is significantly less than what you, Flaccid, describe as "pisspoor". Especially on the weekend designed for Sydney teams to run around in their old jumpers so everybody can reminisce about when they were relevant.

Great effort.

Brisbane can't sell out heritage round. Wasteland.

Still copying my catchphrases, Flaccid? Good for you!

Actually sensible to have games outside sydney on mothers day, and only 4 games for the weekend. Limit the damage on what must generally be the sh*ttest drawing weekend of the year

Dragons/Dogs @ WIN Jubilee - sold out
Broncos/Titans @ Suncorp - 41,000
Roosters/Knights @ SFS - 16000
Panthers/Sharks @ CUA - 14000
Warriors/Cowboys @ Mt Smart - 18,500
Sea Eagles/Eels @ Brookvale - 18,000
Tigers/Rabbitohs @ SCG - 26000
Storm/Raiders @ Olympic - 11,000

total - 165 500

Yep, congrats to us for scheduling something on a week to week basis that the majority of clubs, players and fans don't like and would much rather be played on the weekend instead lol :p

MsStorm, the NRL have been doing Monday night footy in some way or another since the mid-80's...

Roosters/Knights @ SFS - 16000

I hope this game could get more. Roosters home game on Saturday should be supported by fans. Knights fans should travel like they used to after some good performances. Knights have a good run coming up where they could string wins together and be up the pointy end of the table.

Roosters in ordinary form against what's essentially an out-of-town team... no chance. I'm guessing 12-14k max.

thought it would be a bigger crowd at Kogarah what with it being sold out by wednesday, was the attendance capped after the sharks games?

being at kogarah it surely must have been over 21-22 thousand there, most of the hill was standing room only. awesome atmosphere too

If I was a parent there with young children the last thing I would have wanted to to be asked is to stand for the entire game.

A 19th century ground for a 21st century sport. Sorry but thats not good enough in 2009.

well i was one wishing the game had been moved to the sfs.i mean it was a top of the table clash, heritage round , 2 very popular clubs and an amazing game that went down to the death. the one thing that let it down was unbelievably a capacity crowd of 18000. dont get me wrong it was an great atmosphere and very nostalgic, but that game deserved 40000 in a world class facility

The hill was terrible last night.

And yes, the capacity was capped last night, they said to 19,500 but it must've been 18,500.
