Good crowd at WIN, maybe 7,000. Crap crowd by the looks of things with 20 mins to go before kick off for the PNG vs Kiwis

Really disappointed by the QLD crowds so far, come on boys and girls we can do better!

I've been impressed with Canberra and Wollongong.

But QLD deserve 3 more NRL teams, all origin matches and the entire Super League to be played at their grounds because they are the best fans in the universe....

right???

Would have expected 3000 or 4000 more at the Gold Coast. I'd be disappointed with anything under 40000 tomorrow night in Melbourne..

I would really blame the kiwis for last night's crowd. I really expected there to be heaps of NZ support due to the large kiwi population on the coast, but i would say they were outnumbered 10-1 by PNG fans, with most queenslanders and neutrals going for PNG.

Dude, you got 34k for the openning ceremony & a game involving the Kangaroos.

And I'd say at least 5k were Queenslanders who'd flown down!

Playing on the same night as the Union Wallabies v All Blacks game would have meant a lot of NZ fans would have been at home watching TV.

Is it really the organisers fault?

I know the Kiwis v PNG game was scheduled last year.

When did Union decide to create history by hosting the first ever 'Fourth Bledisloe' in Hong Kong?

Was that crowd last night the biggest crowd for Kiwis vs PNG?? I know they would of got big crowds in PNG but they are not offical crowds are they??

Edit: Yup it was the biggest crowd outside PNG.
