I have heard that one of the big reasons that Curtis wants to leave, is we have signed a promising right sided Centre from the Roosters.

Really? If that's the attitude and he's not willing to back his own ability the it's probably for the best that he goes elsewhere. Very disappointing when someone has the ability but isn't prepared to back himself.

I'm sure we'll make the kid an offer, he might take it. Speculating that he's some primadonna already because he's fielding offers is a bit rich. CB4, do you know that he actually wants to leave?

I don't know that he wants to stay.

He has fielded some good offers.

Hope you're right snoop.... With the obvious talent coming through over the next couple of years we need to be astute and keep as many of the good-uns as possible.

is there any footage of this guy in action? I wouldnt mind seeing what he's got
I watched a NYC game a couple of weeks ago, his first game. He looked a class above all the other centres/wingers that day. Yorsten went ok too, hope we keep both of them.

Agree. 100k is a sound investment for a kid who looks the goods to make it in a position we need. No guarantees he will make it. Russ Aitken was a gun junior and for various reasons didn't quite kick on and we all know about the Filiga experiment.

Rich clubs like Easts stockpile quality kids. We have to do the same. Identify the kids, give them specialist training, exposure to NRL standard preparation and bring them through at the right time.

The club is investing in junior development with John Morris a good appointment. With development funds to flow in a couple of years the signs are looking much better than they have for a long time.

100k would make him top 25. Figure is wrong or we've made a dumb mistake under the misty eyes of 'let's keep our juniors'.

There's kids on 100 outside top 25's. I've got no issue if he is a top 25 for us though if the club thinks he is worth it.

To be exact it's 95k but there will clauses in the contract for him to get more than that over the years.

Oh well, we must be in the ballpark.

Good coin for a young bloke - must've come to the "Take it or leave it" scenario by now.

You don't do that with kids these days, they will leave it and take another offer.
