The guy has been given an avenue by the part-owners of RL to absolutely rip into the sport.

No other major sport in a city would cop such vitriol in that city's highest selling newspaper.


There's been a lack of off-season scandal in RL lately and the Telecrap needed some way of putting the boot it. What better than to give the bloke who writes car articles for a living an entire page to air his bias against the sport.

"Ohh...but it's a gee up." Yeah right. Just like Fitzsimmons is 'only having a dig' hey?


And I wouldn't expect anything anything less from turdbuckets like Mong who don't even support RL. Trust the soccer fool to appear in the NRL section for a thread like this.

In any other sport they would be banning the paper from any RL match, stadium or post match interview. Gallop we await with bated breath!

Whilst I found the article highly amusing coming from a union turd, you know the game that supported the Nazis!, the fact it made it into print and is so defaming of the cash cow for that organisation shows exactly how much influence and power Gallop and the NRL has, they are a laughing stock in the media and the media know they can say and do whatever they like to the detriment of the game with no consequence.

Is the writer a rugby union fan? Someone on here said he wrote something similar a few years ago about soccer and rugby league.

So he's wrote similar articles about Rugby League before. So it begs the question why do News Limited give a non sports journalist a column to write about a sport he knows nothing and why don't News Limited let a Rugby League fan who's also a non sports journalist write an article about union?
