here Warriors, you can have Inu. We'll keep the always consistent 100% effort match winner L Burt.
Not many players possess the skills and talent Inu and Mateo do, but we decided we'd put them in the too hard basket and punt them.
and you guys wonder what is wrong with our club. Lets hope all this is changing under Kearney and co.

Considering Inu is on more than double the salary of Luke Burt. . . . and Burt is fast than Inu since Inu had his injury.

Haters gonna hate.

I never miss Eels or Warriors games (except when I was overseas for 2 weeks recently). Inu isn't a centre, by the way. Don't mind him as a winger. I guess you've got to take the good and the bad with him - he'll do some freakish things but also make some shocking errors.

Disagree. I think Inu is better suited to the centre position. Just my personal opinion.

Only you (OK and Sefto) could put a anti-Luke Burt spin on this.

I actually never had an issue with DA letting those 2 guy, I just wished he had a contingency plan to cover for the loss of both blokes.

Contingency plans don't always work.

I think DA is a good coach, excellent mind for the game - but made the wrong call on both Morts and Robson (or was that Ozzy?)

Either way, Mateo and Inu had to go, especially for the money they were offered - and what we needed was halves. Personally I've got no idea if DA had a contingency plan - what we do know is that he got the sack at the end of the year, so his 'plan' may not have had a chance to come to fruition (ie, not listening to his recruiting desires with his doom impending!)

The thing that makes me most upset is Maloney.
Cannot believe the 'genius' threw both him and Hodko away in favour of Robson.
Any comment on your actions?

Well said. Maloney has been the reason why the Warriors are where they are in the first place, not Mateo. When Parra finally have a halves pairing to be proud of, let's see how much we improve.

I am waiting for Inu and Mateo to have a lethargic shocker next game: they have had their 1 in 10 good game.

Ultimately, good luck to Inu and Mateo. It may have taken a move from the 'club they love' to play at above 65%

Ignore Ashley/Softo. They are just trying to drive their Burt bashing agenda. They need to get a new hobby imo.

They'll probably be bashing Sandow next season.

No they only like bashing club legends.

When Sandow strings three good games together in the Eels #7 jersey he will be an instant club favourite.

If he doesn't become the next Sterlo by his second season, we will hate him like we've hated all the others.

Thing is, Maloney was a nobody when he was here. Same as he was a nobody at the Storm.

He must be a late bloomer, and he's lucky he ended up at a club with shit enough halves to give him a run.

I don't think you can blame anybody for us losing Maloney. If anything we should blame him for not showing enough while he was here.

re: Mateo and Inu .... I can't believe how much shit some fans here lay on them. They have talent, esp Feleti who can turn a game - Surround Feleti with the right teammates and get his mind on the game and he's a match winner

re: Ando letting them go .... understandable if they are on the money they reportedly are on ..... and at least he didn't do the Hagan pay whatever now and pay the consequences later approach to managing the cap - who can ever forget the Hagan, Oh we've got a few hundred thousand free, lets throw it all at Finch for 3 yrs cos he's the only player on the market right now

re: Maloney .... I laugh when people complain about letting him go - like Pou Pou said, he wasn't much when he left us - so who says he'd be what he is today had he stayed? .... I reckon he started to show how good he was in hte ONE game he got at NRL in Melbourne just before bellamy brought finch in and shafted maloney .... perhaps the small amount of time Maloney got in Melbourne helped shape him into what he is now??? - but I doubt he'd be the same had he stayed here

What most people are missing is that the decision was made by one of our supoercoaches who has a lot of suuporters around. He told both of them to move on, problem was there did not seem to be a plan to replace them, not sure that is ever mentioned by those posters

At the end of the day, they are both stars of the junior reps, but are notconsistent. Would I like them to still be here, yes as they may have been put under more pressure under the current coach. Still like to see them doing well, but they drive you mad with errors, and then make you smile etc when they put on a super play.

Thats the way they have always been, came off to an extent last night ,forgetting Feleti's very poor display up to the try and Inu having one of those games as he does infrequently given his talent ( remember him turning Idris inside out in 2009).

I know it shouldn't come as a shock but I'm confused. You are quick to bag Anderson (standard issue) for his (that's debatable) decision not to keep them yet go on to explain the perfectly valid reasons why most believe it was the right decision. If your good mate PO could actually pull off what he said he was going to do then Quade would be earing their cash.

I think your desire to bag DA at every opportunity gets in the way sometimes.
