My enduring memory of Dale is of him commentating Lion Red Cup games into his phone on the roof of his van...it was magic.

Or calling the French team 'le frogs' when we played them on a UK tour. Classic.

if i'd seen a f**king game yet this year i'd probably be agreeing. i'd always thought it felt like he was a bit disengaged from the nzrl games he used to do.

just the highlights alone do give off an amazing back to the future feel.

I think Husband is a big improvement on McIvor, personally. I found McIvor creepy and weird. Husband is just a bit boring and speaks like he could be commentating a milking shed.
