Grow some balls will you and aim up.

If your post is any indication of how good your defence is Hook would tear up your contract.

You know exactly what your inference was but you have now worked out that you f**ked up and confused yourself between survival and application and consequently have been barking up the wrong tree.

Your prattle and inferences about how good the Illawarra side of the board & the JV is and your berating and jibes at the St G side are well known in this place.

    No a
    Angry lol

Just advising you that you need to take some ownership for your statements and innuendo

You throw it out there and when you come under attack you fold like a cheap suit.

Your intestinal fortitude is sadly lacking at times and your attempts to muddy the waters just compounds it.

Jesus i thought you two settled this last night...i reckon you two should just exchange personal details, meet up and settle it...winner gets their hand raised, loser gets a trip to the morgue because judging by the amount you two hate each other i am sure that is where one of you would end up...

Young officially tells Dragons he’ll depart club at season’s end

Interim Dragons coach Dean Young has told the club he will depart at season’s end, after 17 years of connection to the St George Illawarra club.

According to multiple reports, Young informed the club of his exit on Wednesday afternoon.

He took over the top job after Paul McGregor was shown the door, but was ultimately beaten to the long-term head coaching position by Anthony Griffin who will pick up the reigns next season.

Griffin has already started putting things in place, reportedly telling assistants Shane Flanagan and James Shepherd they wouldn’t have jobs at the club next year. However, he had hoped Young would remain with the Red V.

36-year-old Young, a premiership winner with the Dragons as a player in 2010, is expected to take up an assistant role with a rival club.

He has been linked to the Cowboys under incoming coach Todd Payten, and the Knights — whom the Dragons face on Sunday — under Adam O’Brien.

Young has had a tough run since stepping up to the top job, winning just one of four games.

Young to exit Dragons as NRL-wide assistant moves heat up

Dragons interim coach Dean Young has officially told the club he will leave at the end of the season, bringing to a close his 17-year association with the Red V.

Young is understood to be weighing up offers to join the Cowboys and Newcastle under Todd Payten or Adam O'Brien respectively as the assistant coaching merry-go-round cranks up.

The changeover of five NRL head coaches this year has created upheaval among right-hand men across the game.

Young told St George Illawarra officials on Wednesday that he would depart after next Sunday's final-round clash with Melbourne at Kogarah.

He was offered a role on Anthony Griffin's staff for next season but will instead join fellow assistants Shane Flanagan and James Shepherd in departing the club.

Young's time in red and white stretches back to his 2003 debut and takes in a cherished premiership under Wayne Bennett in 2010 and a stint as caretaker coach this year after taking over from Paul McGregor.

Flanagan and Manly's John Cartwright loom as well and truly over-qualified options in the assistant market for 2021 after both were moved on by their respective clubs last week.

Given their experience and credentials both are expected to pick up roles somewhere in the game next season, though the still unknown football department cap for 2021 remains a hurdle to several appointments.

Brisbane's head coaching appointment – where Paul Green and Kevin Walters are still the firm front-runners – is the other curveball in the assistant coaching equation, with the likes of Cartwright and one-time Broncos assistant Stephen Kearney touted as possible additions pending who lands the top job.

Current Newcastle assistant David Furner, who along with Young was beaten to the Dragons post by Griffin, is expected to join Trent Barrett's new staff at Canterbury next season.

Interim Bulldogs coach Steve Georgallis is among those moved on by the club at the end of the season, with the veteran assistant yet to sort his future beyond Belmore.

Meanwhile the Warriors are understood to be close to sealing a move for current Titans assistant Craig Hodges – who took charge of the club briefly late last year after Garth Brennan's exit – to replace Payten on Nathan Brown's 2021 staff.

Melbourne are also exploring their options given Craig Bellamy's chief offsider Jason Ryles will link with the English rugby union side under Eddie Jones in November.

Current development coaches Ryan Hinchcliffe and Craig's son Aaron have been discussed by Storm management for possible promotions to replace Ryles, though the club hasn't ruled out an external appointment either.

I'm out: Club legend Young tells Dragons he's leaving

Anthony Griffin will step up his hunt for assistant coaches after St George Illawarra caretaker coach Dean Young officially told the Dragons he will be leaving the club at the end of the season.

Young, who has been linked to assistant roles at the Knights and Cowboys, will farewell St George Illawarra after their final-round match against Melbourne next weekend.

Former Broncos and Panthers coach Griffin beat Young and David Furner to the top job as Paul McGregor's successor last week.

Griffin wanted the 36-year-old, who he worked with during Tonga's end-of-season campaign last year, to stay in Wollongong, with Young agonising over the decision in recent days. He had a year to run on his Dragons contract.

But after St George Illawarra were thumped 37-8 by the Raiders, Young notified the club on Wednesday he will spread his wings next season with the Dragons reluctant to stand in his way. He is yet to formally accept an offer at another club.

Young has led St George Illawarra to just one win in four matches since McGregor's exit, with the Red V bombing out of finals contention after losses to the Titans and Cowboys.

It will end Young's almost 20-year association with the club, having played 209 games for the joint venture and been a mainstay as a junior coach and assistant to McGregor. His father Craig remains on St George Illawarra's board.

Griffin will have a clean slate to work with as Young joins fellow assistants Shane Flanagan and James Shepherd on the lookout for new employers.

Flanagan and Shepherd were told last week they wouldn't be retained by the club under the Griffin regime, having both been brought in to help McGregor this season.

St George Illawarra's high performance manager Nathan Pickworth has also been told he won't be required beyond this season.

Young will debut a second player in as many weeks with 19-year-old Max Feagai named on the bench for the clash against the Knights on Sunday.

Young handed a first NRL jersey to winger Cody Ramsey, who scored both of St George Illawarra's tries against Canberra.

Feagai and his twin Matt recently signed contract extensions which will keep them at the club until the end of 2022.
