Had the biggest crush on Nadine Garner in that show at the time... didn't rate Kylie.

Moses isn't underperforming and I dont have a major problem with what he does under pressure. I also don't think he's complacent. He looks like he plays with passion, energy and a desire to win. He isn't the main reason we sucked this year.
Cleary is the best half in the comp by some distance. Moses is fairly and squarely in the second tier along with several others - Reynolds, Hughes, Hynes etc.
I personally wouldn't let go of Moses for Mitch Henderson.
Agree. He is a decent half but he will never do what Cleary did in the grand final. I think his general play is excellent. But when the chips are down I don't see him as the type who will grab a game by the scruff on the neck and take charge. And this bloke wanted $1 million a season...
Take a look at how Cleary took the Grand Final by the scruff of the neck, when his team needed him most.
Moses is over-rated, and overpaid, imo.
You said he can’t be in the next tier of halfbacks then a couple paragraphs later said all the other halfbacks are garbage. There is Cleary and then the next bunch of halfbacks are pretty much at Moses’ level.I disagree.
For a guy on a salary just shy of $1 million a year, his goalkicking fluctuates wildly, and he has shown he struggles to get us on the front foot when we are behind.
I'm not saying he needs to be let go.
I'm saying we need to sign/promote a half who can step in to take the reigns, to show Moses that if he underperforms, he can, and will, be replaced.
The comparison to Cleary was valid - they play the same position, and Cleary is the yardstick that all halves should be measured by.
I'm not sure that it can be reasons said that he is firmly in the next tier of half-backs - if that was the case, he'd be an automatic inclusion for NSW whenever Cleary was not available.
And yet, there's always debate as to whether NSW should go with Moses, or Hynes.
Tigers fans - though still salty about his departure - will happily point out that he is a prime example of a downhill skier.
Fans from other teams will also join this chorus.
He is the beneficiary of the halfback stocks being absolute garbage, save for a few decent players. That in, and of, itself, doesn't mean he's brilliant; it just means he's the best of a bad bunch.
When the chips are down, and we need a miracle, I see Gutherson demanding the ball. As our halfback, and a player aiming to one day get paid $1 million dollars per season, that should be Moses' attitude.

Also he has been the next picked halfback after Cleary for origin. Every time Cleary has been injured. Hynes has never been!
He goal kicks at 79.3%. That’s pretty f**king good when you consider Sivo score most of our tries in the corner.
Fitler has picked Mitch with no hesitation. It’s only the idiots on NRL 360 that throw up other names. He's a talented guy, without a winner's mentality.
I don't think Hynes is a better player (though he's won a Dally M, unlike Moses), but every time Cleary has been out, there has been discussion in who should replace him for NSW.
Surely, if Moses was a clear-cut no. 2 halfback in the game he'd be picked if fit without hesitation?
Evidently, selectors have some concerns choosing a player who has talent, but doesn't have the temperament to remain collected under pressure.
He's gotten the job ahead of other halfbacks in the end, but not without debate as to whether he is the right person for the job.
As for his goalkicking, Sivo in his last 3 seasons has scored 17, 13, and 16 tries - To'o has scored 15, 13, and 21, and Cleary still kicks above 80%.
I'm not saying he should be sacked, or replaced.
I saying he is not playing to the price tag he is being paid.
If you compare everyone else on a similar pay packet, I reckon you might change your mind.I saying he is not playing to the price tag he is being paid.

Comparing anyone to Cleary is unfair. He is a once in a generation player. Could be the greatest of all time when he hangs them up.
79.3% goal kicking isn’t a problem.

How is Ben Hunt performing? He gets paid by the Dragons and has been the most overpaid half in the comp for years. When was the last time he steered his team to the semi finals? He does well for QLD as a 9/utility not a halfback.Players such as...?
Ben Hunt? He's been a regular for Australia, and Queensland, for years.
Daly Cherry-Evans? Premiership-winning halfback, and a rep regular
Cam Munster? I think we all know what he's accomplished.
The only two players earning similar salaries to Moses who aren't performing are Ponga, and Brooks.
Every other player around his salary bracket is performing.
I still don't think cleary is as good as you say....maybe I'm wrong....doubt it.Comparing anyone to Cleary is unfair. He is a once in a generation player. Could be the greatest of all time when he hangs them up.

Just do some sums and compare FFS.Yes, but that's what I mean - he's not considered, at least not unanimously, the heir apparent, and I question why.
Why else would they bring Ivan back to the club. He won f**k all in his first 15 years. Hadn't even won half of his games. Bu Penrith were desperate to stop the Chooks poaching their young halfback. How many other Origin players have a relative employed at the club on stupid money and the NRL doesn't say a word?Don't disagree that he's on insane money. Cleary is probably getting half of his old man's salary as well as his own.
I don't think work ethic had anything to do with why we did or didn't keep him. It's a matter of risk appetite. We decide how much the player is worth to us, a rival club decides how much he's worth to them. The player decides which offer he likes better. That's how it works.Moot point now, but working harder to keep Sanders would have been a shrewd move.
