it's the ones that aren't so big involving AFL players that are largely ignored by the media. the same media are all over league for nothing incidents

and no Swans news has ecer been major

Well they were all big enough for a bloke who lives in NSW, and doesn't follow AFL at all to know about it?

I mean the Swans betting situation was big news as far as I was concerned - but maybe the Swans are just a little bit better behaved than league players? How many times has that silly cow Rebecca Wilson fawned over what a breath of fresh air the Swans players are and how they are such true gentleman  I am sure its not merely to put the boot into Rugby League - because love her or hate her - league is apparently her favourite sport.

Anyway, thats by the by, we will have to disagree on the media coverage El Diablo.

I can assure you if I know of any AFL news it must have been massive for me to even give two rats about it

As for the topic at hand? I think its fair to assume that everyone who doesn't believe the Dragons actions are a problem that deserve public humiliation are definitely fully fit individuals and not disabled. There have been a few disabled people post earlier who had their say - and it wasn't kind. I'm not disabled but can recognise how dumb the 2 Dragons lads were.

And in the end wouldn't this all be solved if the Dragons lads parked somewhere else meant for healthy people? ;-) The media can't fire the bullets at rugby league unless boofhead footballers give them the ammunition.

Woolford is entering the Special Olympics....

News just in: Ben Hornby caught trying to take 9 items through the 8 items or less lane at Coles. Hornby claimed innocence, stating that since the 2 Mars bars were in fact the same item, they should only be counted as one. Investigations are continuing.

He made a mistake- he recieves a fine and also raises publicity about 2 issues
1) Disability - helping the disabled community get more exposure
2) Parking - about how the lack of parking or proper public transport in Sydney forces people to do things they wouldn't if they had better options - It is not likewoolford parked in a disabled space when thier were heaps of others around

Also question for everyone if a non disabled person uses a disabled space and no disabled person had need for that space (lets be honest thier are always empty disabled spots always) then is he doing anything wrong

Plus and my own little rant here - Parents with Prams shouldnt get an improved parking spot - you cant push a pram keep your legs shut

In late breaking news, Woolford attempted to bargain his sentence down by pleading guilty to a lesser offence.

Unfortunately, there isn't one.

All posters here ask yourself this question ..... "would I or have I ever parked in a disabled spot?" I bet 99.9% of you answered no! This is just a reflection of the arrogance of the pryck and I'm glad he is suffering media embarrassment about it.

Quick question...what if the players had a training injury and could not walk far...would that make it acceptable?

I think it would.
If I am driving an auto, have an obviously broken leg in plaster and on crutches, would I need a permit to park in disabled spot?
