Didnt someone say on here that Mary met with him in secret at The Lagoon seafood restuarant at North Wollongong late last week?, Suppose if someone on here knew cant of been much of a secret. Anyway the Hayne Train rolls on and leaves Parramatta Station

Im sorry but someone has to expose Samy, he quite clearly said a few weeks back that Hayne will NOT be coming and now that there are rumours he is coming he's back tracking and saying Hayne might be coming??? he never has any information to back up his 'Rumours', and if he did have information then why wouldn't he just say who is coming/who is being targeted??? so fishy.

Don't like what I write then don't read it.
Very easy.
I couldn't give a toss what you think.

Think it's been fairly exaggerated how lazy Hayne is anyway. I never thought he was lazy, he had a few games where he was early shot for confidence at the Titans and wasn't loving the environment but at Parra he was mostly good.

And those "lazy trainer" rumours came from Paul Kent, who I wouldn't trust for a Hayne story as they hate each other. Parra players last year repeatedly said he was one of their best trainers all year

I understand when people point to the Titans stint and say that's what happens when Hayne doesn't play for the Eels. But I think it's more of a gold coast thing, and he would be much more comfortable in Sydney on a medium contract with less expectation to carry a team

I know your club needs to bolster its three quarter line, but Hayne is not the player he was. Also the stories about his laziness go beyond Paul Kent, there are plenty of other sources who have talked about it Brutali. I dislike Kent as much as the next one, but Hayne is just not as good as he used to be. If you guys sign him, I hope it isn't on big money.

St George Illawarra were initially reluctant to explore the option of luring Hayne to the joint venture, however, given he is still a free agent they have changed their tune.

Seems pretty spot on to me, we looked at him a few weeks ago decided not for us, but now are looking at him again... So dragonssamy61 is spot on, keep posting Samy...

Yep, people come up here to the Gold Coast and their in holiday mode.
I live here and still have to motivate myself to go to work each day!

I was a no for Jarryd Hayne because I thought his best years are well behind him.

He has definitely lost some speed over the past couple of years. He was blisteringly quick around late teens and early twenties and that was a huge asset for him. He looked average with the Titans / early return to Eels, but in fairness picked up and scoring a try a game last part of last season. He has had some serious ankle injuries which may have blunted him at Titans and Eels.

Right now I would hate to lose Matt Dufty at fullback for Jarrod. I am not suggesting Matt is a superstar etc but has X factor and genuine high end speed, both acceleration and sustained. Matt is not a $700k a season player but I would upgrade pay to say $450k for two season post 2019.

If the Dragons are signing Jarryd for one season only at $ 500k tops to play wing and move to centre, fullback if required to cover for injury, then I’m not ecstatic but it might work. In particular if he recaptures more of his genuine dash and elusiveness then we would have a very slick backline.

Now I'm not all that close to the club but I would say that Hayne is a done deal.
As in, he has signed. He's a dragon for 2019.
Next question is where will he play?
How can Mary screw this one up?

The money is the thing. No more than 550k for two years and then worth a gamble but no more. Hope we don't lose the Duff to do it.

I'm tipping he will sign for 600k. If he signs then it is certain that one or two players will have to go; maybe Dufty and Aitken.

We should not have to..Nene and Flo had to free up over 500K you would think and 2 winger replacement gambles would have been cheap. + I am sure we got a chest full of TPA's ;)
