Interesting because the opening line of that part of the interview and then his response.
Dragonslayer why don't you just tell us what you saw and why you think its interesting. I didn't pick up on anything other than Sailor saying Hayne is a great player and it would be great to learn from a player with his experience.
If I missed something because I'm not clever enough, do me a favour mate and tell me what is so interesting.
Thanks.

My pointvwas that the interviewer said "have/has the group talked about Hayne coming to tje Dragons, hus responze was yeah..
I find if intetesting that why would the grpup talk about it if ot wasnt a teal possibility of it happening.
Why discuss it if it wasnt

You got to remember DS, that interview would of been earlier in the week, where Frizzell said the same thing when NSW had their launch. I dont think it means we are any closer to knowing the truth or that they know he is coming.
I listened to the interview all that was asked was that there is a lot of talk (referring to media rumour mill) not the playing group..LOL. Trying to read something out of not much or wishful thinking from you..
Danny Weidler asked Hayne how he thinks he we would look in red and white...Hayne just laughed it off

Daily Telegraph claims Souths are trying to free up salary cap space (for Pangai Jr?) and that Alex Johnson, among others, is being shopped around. Hayne may not be the only SGI option. Personally, I have the same problems with Johnson as I do with Holmes and Dufty at FB- defence and positional play although his high ball management is better than the other two.

I was just reading an article by chief smh league reporter, Adrian Presenko and his comments seem to put to bed, any thoughts that Hayne was coming our way.

The Eels are still holding out hope of adding Jarryd Hayne to their squad but need an established player to leave to free up the required salary cap space. The players spent time in camp at Armidale last week, while Hayne continues to train on his own. The Dragons have shown some interest, although the most likely scenario is a Parramatta return, particularly if Michael Jennings shifts to Newcastle.

Yeh I would take Holmes..but for wing, he is electric from the back and runs in top gear, but as you have defence and under high ball tiny bit sus. Dufty our fullback, but I also may be Robinson Crusoe o_O

Oh well , then we will certainly get him on the rebound come 2020 , or the year after that or . . .

I’d personally have Holmes over Duff at fb right now but I would have said the opposite at the beginning of the season. So who knows what will happen.

Yes, at the start of season, Holmes had numerous question marks next to his name in regards to fullback and was even moved to the wing at one stage. He then finished the season in fine form at fullback.

Dufty is in a similar boat. I do hope that we hold onto Dufty and give him another season to develop.
