Hunt himself also scoffed at the 1.2 mill price tag. Additionally, the apparent 300k of TPA for Hunt is almost 6x the reported TPA for the entire club.
It's easier to just make up numbers to help you build an argument.
Exactly this.
Our total TPA was 26k for the whole year.
Maybe, just maybe, this is the deal breaker with Hayne, he wants all of that 26k......lol
This is exactly how it should be dealt with.No fu#*ing around.Give me a break!
He's doing exactly what we need him to do here. Hayne isn't worth the risk of a 3-4 year contract. Millward is saying its 1-2 years or no deal.
No point having a deal with Hayne unless he embraces the deal wholeheartedly.
If I were Millward I would give him a deadline to take our deal.
As usual, we are being used by a manager as bait.
If he had an ounce of intelligence, he would have signed a contract with Saints. We are his best chance of winning a premiership.
I don't buy the Norman rumourDon't be too keen.

Still need 2 spots I thinkI don’t buy any of it.
Our recruitment for next year is done.
Still need 2 spots I think

I’d hope that we have enough coin left over to buy an experienced prop to give us a bit of depthThose final 2 spots will probably be filled by
Jarryd Hayne

Ben Hunt is a beast in defence. It's easily his biggest strength.Hunt would also give us more creativity at hooker, but his defence wouldn't be a strong as McInnes.
Mate, l think the only feeling going on is with Hayne himself.
He needs to get serious of p!ss off.
We don't need timewasters or knobheads.
We only want genuine players who want to make a go of it.
I'm starting to think Hayne is just loving all this drama being dragged out.
If Millwood has only offered 2 years, good on him .............. stick to it.
Give Hayne a deadline to decide and then move on.
If we're getting this much drama just to sign him, tell him he's dreaming.
Exactly OKB1 , they are stuffing the Dragons around and it would had been far better to give him or his agent a set date to decide - one way or the other . Sick of our mob being used to sweeten the pot for other players whom may never had any interest in coming South in the first place .
The cause of the delay is that SGI is playing hard ball on salary. Maybe Hayne's manager is in the final stages of arranging a Wollongong TPA.
