Hopefully, we dodge a hollow point bullet and he comes nowhere near the Dragons. He’s not even the mentor I’d seek for our juniors.

Just can’t see much worthwhile gain here, maybe 1 or 2 good games in a season, only short term pain at the expense of Dufty, Lomax, Aitken, Field, Pearson, Ravawala.... Jayne would spend half the year injured, busted or in the news for a variety of reasons.

I’m not a massive Hayne either, but do we do nothing knowing we won’t win a comp with what we have, or do we take a punt?

As I’ve stated a healthy and motivated Hayne (or someone similar) with our halves and pack could be the key to wining a comp.

Busted several years in a row so what will alter that for 2019?
The only answer is the way we play footy and having Hayne or anybody else will not alter that because as we all know there is only 1 solution to that issue.
Our window is 2020 / 21 on the proviso we keep the nucleus of the side, get rid of a few lemons and get a coach with a winning strategy and Hayne will not make 1 ounce of difference in that equation, although at some point he will get supporters on their feet with his sheer individual brilliance but IMO those occasions would be few & far between but unfortunately some are easily pleased and would take that.

I used to have high hopes for Mann, but he has never nailed it, mr average he is.
He did choose the wrong option when he got the ball, seconds to go and he decides to just die with it, ffs.

Outside support, but nah, never looked.
No vision.

He's not a 5/8th ffs.

We bought him as a FB and dropped him after 2 fricken games.

Since then he has played every position in the backline, helped in the halves and even in the back row.. Whilst other non-performing players have been given free passage into the starting 13.

Im not going to STFU about a player like Mann. He offers a great deal but has been f**ked over in the pecking order as Mary has his mind set.

If the same standard, 2 games, was adopted to our backline for the past 2 years, the lot of them would have been dropped.

What a load of old codswallop.

They ran a play and the option chosen turned out wrong, this happens. At least they tried something and further, not one of them was incorrect in what they did. I would love to see some of the critics on here trying to run a set play in real time and make the perfect decision. What they forget is that there was a defence and that defence didn't do what they were expecting. Sometimes that is because the defence has actually done the wrong thing but it works out OK because the set play was trying to target a defence that was hopefully doing what they were trained to do.

You are absolutely correct he offers nothing and way overrated that last play against souffs the media went after hunt for it but had Mann passed the ball it was game set and match
