St Merge 1 comp in 20 years !

Eels 4 in 76.

Do the math dorks !
Go St Merge
Did not Parra come in to the comp in 1947, so how has it been 76 years?..and the sad thing is you won 4 comps in 6 years, what about the other 65. Least the St George indentity which we are all proud of have won a plethora of comps and the merged indentity won 1 in the last 10 years. How many has Parra won in the last 30 years?..Answer...Crickets

Thank goodness for the “edit button”, huh?

If only you understood the difference between joint ventures and mergers, you “might” be on an equal footing with other posters from this forum.

Guilty or not I cannot see how he can provide 100% focus to whatever team he signs for in this situation - especially if innocent (which I believe would provide a much more taxing mental toll). So end of the day if he is guilty I don't want him here and if he is innocent I am not sure he can provide a focussed approach. If he can then screw the media circus and sign him. If not then let him go.

Just do the due diligence with psychologists etc. We saw what impact the mental game can have on players with Ben Hunt. (and Dan Hunt. Wonder if karmichal had mental issues also)

Of course the big winner out of this schemozzle is Dufty who pretty much can hold us at ransom now.

I find it a bit rich that a Parramatta supporter is trying to bait Dragons fans about their home ground, when it's not even looking like Parra supporters will be able to afford going to their own ground.

Not that you'd want to waste your time going anyway.

Keep fighting the good fight Chief.

Have you seen our new stadium - shits on Kogarah Oval. And just remember the merged team has only ever won 1 comp. That's all you have in the record books
Life must be very boring for you as you have found a need to come over to our forum to have a bit of a lash
For the record all the crap about the number of premierships for StGI has been trolled many times before and your effort to entice arguement was indeed very poor do best you leave that to others with a higher skill set
Re the new stadium at Parramatta indeed it will be a very nice shared facility and no doubt those sports that have more success will get greater access so good luck with that you perennial losers.
Re the increased income you boast about, no doubt you will find some dodgy way to use the money and try to cheat the cap again because last time you couldn’t even cheat with any degree of success.
PS We hope you have plenty of insurance on your new stadium as your fans have been known to destroy them and maybe you should get the barbed wire ready because you’ve needed that before as well.

Back to the current subject - no club will be seriously considering signing Hayne with two investigations hanging over his head, guilty or not, it will become an absolute media circus and massive distraction.

So much for Hayne ever wearing the red v

Now the Hayne saga us out in the open, I seriously doubt that Parra will release Norman or Jennings. Their release was dependant on re-signing Hayne on larger $$$.
Parra will also becreluctant to pay any freight on either of them and with Norman on a supposed $900k it wont happen.
Checking through the available and still off-contract, there is just rubbish.
Unless there is/ are current signed players who really want out of their current clubs and given pre-season training has started, that doesnt seem likely either.
So, what to do? 2 spots to fill but 1 doesnt need to he filled until March (i think) and ther other June.
My guess is that our current squad of 28 (inc Mann) will he it at least until march bext year.
It wouldnt suprise me to see us sign someone from Qcup or NSW cup or dare i say throw lifelines to Sele and Herbert, who seem not wanted by anyone else.

If Hayne is not charged with regards to the latest accusation and if he quickly settles the USA civil action, there will be no reason not to sign him. People should be considered innocent until found guilty.

With regards to the USA accusatons, no charges were brought against Hayne by police. With regards to the current accusation, so far no charges have been brought by police.

Let's just wait and see what happens with the latest accusation.
