We desperately need a good fullback. Dufty can spend the next few seasons on the wing and if good enough, will be Haynes replacement at contract end.

You're describing shutting the gate after the horse has bolted.
If he misses even one training session, it's too late.
A $10,000 slap on the wrist is not going to change a serial offender.
I hated what he did to Henry. The Titans made a big mistake backing the player instead of the coach.
If we have $700K to spend, surely we can weigh into the market and pick up a professional gamebreaker that is not a loose canon.

Anyone suggesting Dufty should be on the wing clearly hasn't been paying attention to the game in recent years. The best wingers in the game these days are all over 6 foot or human battering rams. Dufty is neither.

Dufty is so quick and elusive no one will touch him. If he lets too many tries in than off to ISP he goes. It's time Mary faced the facts. Drop those who aren't up to it.

What Dr. Fruitbasket Returns , has said it is right on the money , a lot of unwanted publicity from the American case that could easily detract from the Dragons goal next season . Can we afford that - do we really need that ? I believe that if all of that ‘ rig- ma-roll ‘was not involved , then he would be worth a short term contract , but even then , who knows when he would start to get itchy feet again and decide to move to Canada to play ice- hockey or whatever happens to tickle his fancy at the time ?

Norman
Guttherson
French
May end up at Dragons..(whichever one is the bargain deal).
Anyone of these 4 are guns and far out perform whatever stocks we have .. must remember they just paid Fergusson $650k a year!!!!

No guns there imo.
Moses is a spoilt brat who can't tackle as well as abusing his teammates.
Norman has plenty of ability but also comes with baggage.
Gutherson is an ordinary player who tries really hard but with little speed.Looks like a headless chook at times.
French is quick, end of story.

If we have 700k to spend we should go after Oates long term and we would still have change . We need a big fast first grade winger to replace Nene . Talk of Dufty , Field or Aitken as wingers is insane . None have the capacity to play that position .
