Interested in knowing why you guys believe that Sheens would be a poor choice ?Is he past it, not up to it or are there better options ?
Personally, I see this as a "re-building" period.
We were lucky when we got a new coach in Wayne Bennett and he got us firing from Round 1 2009 v Melbourne Storm (lot's of things helped us, i.e., having a great team, Brown not leaving the place a mess, a hungry / talented squad).
For me,
it doesn't matter if Sheens is a decent coach or not (I think Price is better anyway).
The main reason the club should persevere with Price is because he has his "systems" and "structures" in place, and the "re-build" appears to be heading in the right direction (i.e., winning games, key signings, players leaving / retiring).
I just don't see the benefit of bringing in a new coach, who will bring new staff, systems, structures, beliefs, training methods, etc.
It will turn the place on it's head and put the "re-build" back further.
We don't have the coach or the squad to make the transition we did from 2008-to-2009.
Price must be allowed to build.
Welcome to the Forums old mate, that's just my two Bob.
