Perhaps it was a typo by Mr Red... instead of "I'm reserving judgment until round 8" what he meant to type was the similar: "I'm not reversing judgment until round 8"
Considering 2 of the losses were in Melbourne and canberra, where we never win, and that he's lost Stanley, Weyman, King and now Beale to injury, Price is not doing too bad at all
After the shit I was giving Price 3 rounds ago, I'm gonna look fair-weathered. But I think from what he's done in the last 3 rounds he deserves another 2 years, more chance to get the roster the way he sees it should be.
Don't regret what I said though. There was no indication that there was any change coming.
Honestly I'm not a big fan of Flanagan other than his rapport with players, he is a big whinger who makes excuses for losing rather than copping it on the chin.
Is that why Price hasn't got a chin:lol:
Lol.Is that why Price hasn't got a chin:lol:
It is obvious this season that the team is responding to his coaching. There is nothing wrong with instilling confidence in the squad and this will also benefit in recruiting players.Don't these idiots ever learn? The same thing used to happen with Brown and they kept extending his contract. What a debacle that turned out to be. If they want to extend his contract, wait until the end of the season to see how the team goes. I'm sure there is no other team waiting in the wings to poach him
It's early days
Nobody is going to be wanting to offer Price a bundle to go elsewhere
I would be waiting until we're in the eight or not before deciding
Making the 8 is a pass IMO but new signings would be also required for more than one additional year unless we're say top 6 then a two year extension is warranted.
The board has always had faith in Price as a coach, it has been his lack of ability to garner new recruits that has seen them looking at options
