Dragons Coach For 2014

Brian Smith has proven time and again that he cannot win a GF and to my understanding that is the point of playing football in the first place. We have an assistant coach with better credentials than Smith; Folkes having won a premiership with the Bulldogs in 2004. No to Brian Smith.

Wrong Smith, better option would be Tony Smith (younger brother of Brian) he has won the championship with Leeds club in UK super league and current warrington wolves head coach. He has also been the England coach and has played for both the dragons & steelers. This Mr Smith has the pedigree and lengthy experience earned in the UK.

Tony Smith only got a start because of his brother, he cost us a good 5/8 in Peter Coyne who could actually play! (Remember that tackle on Rodwell in that semi)

What about Neil Henry!
I'm not sure when his contract with the Cowboys finishes, but he seems to have a lot of respect from his players and seems to know how to put a decent side together.
Throw a heap of cash his way and see what happens?
Definitely a big no in regards to Brian Smith!

Slippery was a legend.
Not sure about his coaching ability.
Fact of life, many legends havent cut it in coaching.
Even so, to have 3 Morris,s at home would be awesome.

Talking about his coaching experience not his very ordinary playing career. Both Bellamy & Bennett excelled in their coaching rather than their playing days. Just another option outside the circle.

You spoke about him playing for the Dragons and Steelers didn't you?

Purely to give his background for any younger readers that may not beware that he played for both clubs before a long and successful coaching stint in the UK. I'm not saying he would be the best coaching option for the dragons, but he's the better smith pick at this time in their coaching careers.
