Draw 2015

It's a fixed-schedule, you have more time to organise specifics (fly in/outs) than any other year.

Ah, no.

It's the same 20-round fixed schedule as previous years, with the final six to be scheduled in July...

"While this means it's not possible to deliver a draw before December, our fans now know the date of their team's matches right up to the end of July, which allows them to plan their year," added Mr Kind.

It's ridiculous. I reckon it will be Fri 19th Dec.

Nein and fox bickering is making HQ look hopeless when it comes to the draw. Whst have they been doing since the GF it surely shouldnt take more than 8 weeks to select timeslots for a draw

Scrap all the mickey mouse pre season rubbish, wcc, nines, allstars...start the comp early have 30 rounds, everyone play each other twice = much simpler and fairer....but no...too easy

so cut out, all stars, wcc and nines and replace that with an extra 6 games. and once we expand to 18 team, i assume we just add another 2 games.

the workload is too high, which is why you see players pull out of end of year rep fixtures, season length needs to be reduced to playing teams once or maybe most teams once and then 2 or 3 twice in rivalry games (sydney derbys, QLD derbies etc.)

the RLPA would riot if you said 30 rounds from now on haha

I genuinely dont understand the logc behind this suggestion that everyone seems so frantic to get behind....

I mean, obviously its about the draw being fair. But thats only true on paper; there is still the advantage/disadvantage of when in the season you play them. And its not like the draw is dramatically biased as it is now.

For what this is asking for, it just seems like a lot would given away for not much gain...

A fairer draw playing everyone twice overides everything mentioned above imo....obviously a fair contest doesnt mean much to some, understandable given we havent seen a fair comp in f**king yonks

30 games too many? I know soccer is different but EPL sides play 38 match seasons plus for the bigger sides extra champions league and cup games as well. Expand the squad size and cap by a bit and get some depth and squad rotation. Not hard.

25 regular season games are already a waste of time. 30 of them would be a joke. EPL don't have finals for a start so it makes sense. 30 games and the minor premiership would still mean nnothing. Events get peoples attention and especially potential new fans. The more nines, wcc, rep games, all stars etc the better. Regular club games don't inspire anybody especially when they don't mean anything or have any bearing on the title. It should be 22 rounds max. No club games during origin or tests and expand the events and rep games as much as possible.

It's just hopeless.

Why are all 3 Queensland teams at home? It's still blazing hot in Queensland at the start of March, will all 3 be away in round 2? Will we get a similar farce like last season where no Queensland team played at home on the Easter holiday weekend?

No match in New Zealand or Melbourne in round 1 is also utter stupidity, the AFL season hasn't started and there should always be a match in NZ round 1 to hype the season up across the Tasman.

These f**kers don't know what they are doing, send it back and start the draw again.

Cricket World Cup, Asian Cup and Super Rugby might have something to do with it

For those wondering why there's no game in Auckland, the Warriors were going to play Brisbane in round 1 to commemorate their 20 years (Brisbane played Auckland Warriors in their first game). Would have easily sold out. The Warriors have in their contract first rights to Mt Smart Stadium in their contract with Auckland Regional Council. Despite having the dates set, ARC then usurped the contract because of the Eagles concert.
