mate whate the hell are you on about im not saying you dont have pressure put upon you to provide for a family, im saying look at the pressure put on this kid THATS RIGHT KID! to perform for his club, his coach, his team and the suporters WORLDWIDE!
Kid? He's 23 or 24 isn't he?

That's the age of an adult imo.
thats about 50times the pressure you will ever go thru, sure he makes a few extra bucks (quite alot mor actually) but when you take into account the sacrificies he makes, the pressure he goes thru, the scandals, the injuries, and his whole life in general- it far surpasses the few extra bucks he is making!
sacrifices? such as?

He sacrifices working for 30 years to pay off a mortgage, cos he can buy a house and own it in 5 years?

Scandals? Like to name some?

Injuries are part and parcel of what he does.

Seriously, it's like working at the spastic centre and having to explain the theory of relativity to the inmates at times here.

Let's give this a shot.

1. I make a suggestion regarding Benji Marshall due to having sat through his game on Monday night and watched him have what I'd call "A shocker". That suggestion is to put him back into PL for a game so he can carve the **** out of some hapless mob and get his confidence back. Something that EPL managers have done with their teams regularly over the past 100 years.

2. Some parra nong comes in and suggests that I should leave Benji alone because he's a great guy and he's having some personal problems. I have a bit of fun at the parra nong's expense because I can and because he's a nong.

3. MOTH hops onto the aforementioned parra nong's back and starts dry-humping him in agreeance.

4. The parra nong and his hump turn a bit of constructive criticism into a personal attack on Benji, after which I change my tack to a completely false personal attack on Benji, just to sate the thirsts of the parra nong and his back bump and show them the difference between constructive criticism and a personal attack.

5. Someone else comes in and misreads it completely.

Next time I'm sarcastic I'll preface it with the following;

/sarcasm

And if that didn't explain it, this will;

I wouldn't swap Benji for any 5 players any of you care to name.

Y'know, when I was at school, in year 4, the teacher had this thing he called an idiot test.

He'd write the answers on the board, then ask the questions. the kids who got questions wrong would all be put up at the front of the class.

A couple of you are so far up the front of the class you're sitting behind the ****ing teacher.

lol Jesus Christ.

I actually gave you credit for having some intelligence moth, but I was mistaken. 99% of the time you are quite unaware of what's going on around you.

My apologies for overestimating you.

But still, let's continue...

It's not about comps apparently, 1 in 13 years or some crap like that you waffle on about Sheens which isn't good enough apparently...

How many times did Saints with Barrett playing make the semis as against us with Benji?

Here, I'll give you Benji's stats to help you;

1/4 = 25%

And barrett couldn't get a side with test players from top to toe across the line
Benji got a side across the line with buckets o'neill, fitzfumble, elford, galea (solid but not elite players) ... what does that tell you

You never read posts, your eyes just find the bit that you think is relevant and gloss over the rest, even this post you won't actually pick this bit up, you'll just go on the the next bit of garbage I've written.

Moth,

bah, here's a few backs that played for Saints during the Barrett years, you'll recognise a few of them.

Lee Hookey
Lee Murphy
Luke Branighan
Wes Patten
Justin Smith
Willie Peters
Keiran Kerr
Wise Kativerata
Reece Simmonds
Brett Firman
Dean Byrne
John Wilshere
David and Michael Howell
Hassan Saleh
Nick Youngquest
John Carlaw
Daniel Holdsworth
Albert Torrens
Daryl Millard

Which one of those is a better player than any you named?

Hi.

New to forum- life long Magpies fan.

Marshall? I'm all for dropping him to regain form and confidence (hopefully) but what are the options if this is done?

Morris?- qualified maybe
Moltzen?- yes, worht a good look at how he performs at 5/8.
Halatau?- maybe

Not a very strong alternate line up there.

Morris may be OK, after all he was a 5/8 he was never a 1/2 before the WT's inspired signing of him. I'm not anti-Morris- just he has never been a 1/2 and will never be a 1/2- give it up Sheens. Give the poor bugger a chance to get some credit playing in his natural position rather than the bagging he has got for over a year.

Moltzen / Halatau- I'm open to them trying for it if they want to.

I think re-signing Marshall this early in season before his fitness and mental state are certasin was a bad mistake.

These last few pages are a riot!! Loving your work EA, however I sometimes think MOTH just bangs on about something to keep winding the other person up.

I seriously think he just doesn't read the whole post TH, he just glides over it until he hits certain keywords.

Maybe this will be a lesson but even if it isn't, I'm getting a laugh out of it.
