mate whate the hell are you on about im not saying you dont have pressure put upon you to provide for a family, im saying look at the pressure put on this kid THATS RIGHT KID! to perform for his club, his coach, his team and the suporters WORLDWIDE!

thats about 50times the pressure you will ever go thru, sure he makes a few extra bucks (quite alot mor actually) but when you take into account the sacrificies he makes, the pressure he goes thru, the scandals, the injuries, and his whole life in general- it far surpasses the few extra bucks he is making!

Particularly BY his coach ... who has seen how **** we have been without him in years gone by. All these people turning on Benji have no idea and even less loyalty

Life stories, I get them all FFS. I wish this thing I have that gets people to spill their guts on a public messageboard in order to look like they're not the ****ing imbecile we see, was saleable.

No.

You have no idea what you're talking about you softcock.

25 years of marriage, bringing up a family, paying off a mortgage, keeping food on the table whilst not on 350k+ per year is pressure.

Don't sook on his behalf.

EA .. the 350k isn't as much as it sounds
Take out tax
Then bring into the fact he (at 20) was supporting his mum and raising his kid brothers
He has never met his Dad
Everytime he goes out he's a target .. we can escape it
And as anyone who's ever earned lots can tell you ... the more you make the more you spend and you are still pretty much left with not much
He ain't living at point piper is he ... from memory the place he lives in an bought for his family is in westmead
How many of us bought our oldies a house at 20 and raised kid brothers and had the expectations of fans who have seen him as messiah since he was 17

You're as bad as that ****ing dipshit you nong.

Do you take into account Royce's or Tim's home life when you're making a comment about their abilities as coaches? Or Shannon and Warren McDonnell's?

This fool reckons we shouldn't comment about Benji's form because he's having a bit of trouble outside football. Even though all I've seen can be construed, even by a ****ing dodo like you, as constructive criticism from concerned fans.

The bloke is playing like a busted arsehole and something needs to be done other than "wait for him to come good" like we've been doing for 2 years. If you think he isn't, please give us your valuable opinion as to why....

BTW, I know the bloke's story and he isn't a kid any more.

We all have pressures in life and have to deal with them without having the talent that can earn 350k per year, and without the 350k per year.

He's hardly the messiah any more and if he reads this board he needs rooting.

I didn't say it was chicken feed EA
Take out tax
Take out the agent's cut
Then realise at 23 he's responsible for putting his brothers thru school, putting a roof over the family's head, and carries the hopes of 2 nations every time he walks onto the field (the Tiger nation and NZ)

Shines and sizzler are in their 40s and 50s ... different kettle of fish

Junior burger has nowhere near the scrutiny or pressure benji is under and to suggest he is is ****ing laughable. He could play like dogshit and know he's safe cos dad will sort it

Mate, at 23 plenty of people are married with kids and a mortgage and on a fair bit less than that. Sizzler was probably the same, and he played in an era where they worked for a living as well as played footy, as did Sheens.

It's all relative and we all have a story. I won't say nice things about his form, or nothing at all, if he isn't playing well and I'm surprised anyone would expect me to.

Actually, I think it's a ****ing joke that anyone would expect that.

Bullshit EA ... at 23 we were all out on the drink (and whatever else we could get our mits on) some of us may have had a mortgage but I will bet none of us had to raise 2 brothers and buy our parents a house not to mention the scrutiny he is under

And all this has had to be done with injury after injury after injury

Give the kid a ****ing break

You're nothing but a ****ing skirt MOTH.

This turned nasty because of you and that parra softcock. This was nothing more than a fan's honest assessment of Benji's form with a suggestion thrown in and you two turned it into me personally attacking the bloke.

Have it your way.

He isn't a ****ing kid and he isn't the messiah, he's nothing but a drain on the club's cap with dicky knees and shoulders and a confidence level that wouldn't look out of place on the Wrexham goalkeeper.

Punt him.

Buy Trent Barrett.

Please EA, Barrett is a failure and a flat track bully. Benji helped us win a comp, Barrett had a bunch of superstars alongside him and choked.

What HT said

Barrett would be a good fit.

Hell, he might even play 60 or 70% of our games which will be 20 or 30% more than the Messiah.

If we get Barrett, Tom Shines might even punt Johnny Cronk to reserve grade and that would make you harder than a titanium dildo. Well, maybe he won't if he has the odd personal drama at home, or if he's had a tough life, or if there's a bloke on a messageboard who suggests he should be dropped because he isn't playing well and lacks confindence...
