Whoever offers Dugan a contract, the Raiders are going to top that. What makes people think that Raiders are one of the poorer clubs? They're not. WE don't want to let him go... and TBH I don't think we will. He has already stated he loves it in Canberra, and he has his family and friends here.

love the canberra club, I like watching the raiders and how they play. They definitely support the nrl by producng great juniors. I was talking about Canberra the city, definitely not a great place to live in my opinion

Lol. It's the hub of fun. Ain't no party like a government official party

It's quiet, nowhere near as congested as sydney, and your only a 2 hour drive from some of the best beaches and fishing in the country, as opposed to a 2 minute walk from the most congested tourist beach in the world.......

If Canberra offer him what he's worth, he will stay. It's up to them, not him.

If they try to sign him up cheap and offer him an insulting deal (sounds like thats what they were wanting to do) then he may very well leave.

Standard of living in Canberra is a hell of a lot better than sydney or melbourne

Yup in your opinion of course but in most official reports and surveys Sydney is always a top 5 city worldwide in standard of living so not many people agree with you or even know what Canberra is.

I'm not a Sydney lover at all, the place is going down the drain IMO but you Raiders fans will deadset talk up how the dog turds in your parks are so much better than the dog turds in Sydney parks.

Give it a rest.

Most of the forum sympathizes with the Raiders recent retention history but then a whole wad of you will spam a thread with the same dribble everytime leaving us to only chuckle when said player does eventually move on.

There is no other supporter base that swarms to a thread like flies to sh*t like you blokes - there must be SMS alerts triggered to the lot of you when a Canberra related thread is started.

I hope duggan stays at the raiders but if he can be fit again Brett Stewart along with Billy Slater cannot be surpassed by Duggan as best fullbacks in the comp.

The best thing Canberra's got going for it is easy access to an NRL game very fortnight. Canberra Stadium has great views from any aspect (needs more cover though) takes 10 minutes max to get in/leave...and you get to marvel at the size of Daley's nose on his statue every time you go.

What more could a passionate league supporter want?

Lived in canberra for some time, very clean, no grafitti, very quiet though, not much to do....mimimal dickheads though compared to sydney, horses for courses, depends on what youre after
Sundays were good cause they started at about 11am sat and went right thru to Sun midnight

Duges obviously has all his friends and family in Canberra and probably wants to stay there, but he should definitely look around.

i don't even think it's the money as much as the wanting to win a premiership. or at least be in a team with that forseeable in the new future.

what do u guys think?

(needless to say i would LOOOOOVE to have him at the Dragons, imagine what Uncle Wayne could do with him?! aaaaah. but yeh, we have our backline pretty set. can't see us finding room or the money)

I hope Dugan stays with the Raiders and not shops around as Kiki suggested.
They have a great chance of winning the Premiership in the short term.
Sure, upgrade the deal Canberra, because he's worth every cent.

the issue with the Raiders is they have all this immense talent but it doesn't seem to show on the ladder

btw i LOVE the raiders, they are my second fave team. i hope Duges stays. just sayin i understand why he would shop around

If Canberra were givin salary concessions to keep Dugan, Fensom, Croker , Vidot, Wadell I couldnt give a f**k, infact Id be stoked for them.

Unfortunatley our current leadership sees no benefit in keeping together a team that will finally end the Crumbies rise to prominence in the ACT.

i agree in concessions for local juniors/players clubs have developed but the way Storm fans are latching onto that as the issue with the scandal is bullsh*t.

It will Kiki, they are only a young group and everything will fall into place.

I would love to see more loyalty in rugby league by the players, this shopping around hurts the fan base and is not really a good look for the code.

Yeah I love the Raiders too and I hope they really kick everybody's ass this year:D
