Anyway, after the failure of 2010, we needed to bring in a coach to rebuild the club. We did that and now we have a coach to get the most out of a solid but still very young squad.

It was good planning by everyone involved in the club. It was teamwork at its best, with everyone working toward the five year plan established in 2011. It's good they brought back one of the coaches who was involved in its implementation. Ando has hopefully learnt a lot from his own mistakes as well.

To be fair and honest here: 3P DID turn the club around in 1 significant way - the removal of the poison. Unortunately, to get the poison out, they gouged a rather large hole, and started bleeding to death almost immediately.

There's a reason the 'attitude' around the club was so positive immediately following the change. And it would be facile to pretend that had absolutely nothing to do with a surge in on-field fortunes.

Unfortunately, the dim-wits started to undermine the (clever tactical) coach who took them to the grand final the very next year, and surely that affected on-field performances and general club attitude through 2010.

And then they appointed a moron, sacked him, then appointed a bigger moron before being ousted.

a) Not being paid or worrying if they are going to be paid
b) ASADA.
c) The Alex McKinnion incident.

Exactly. Instability off the field affects how the players perform on it. The constant undermining and backstabbing of the past couple of years really hurt us on the field.
