Are saying that you have the opposite view to my view that you merkins are useless and whiny?

Well I am not useless. I've run my own buisness for 25yrs.Can probably build a house from scratch and I make a mean Greek salad.

When I say I useless it is all relative. I’m sure you all have stuff you are great at. But for most of you, having an opinion on rugby league isn’t one of them. Hence the whining about our club.

To be fair, I am bad for whining about useless merkins. This is also a problem for me in the real world. I need to be more empathetic and also improve my communication. What am I doing to help useless merkins be less useless? The answer, all too often, is f**k all. I need to do better.

This is why you need to start watching Front up. Start to see the world in other people's eyes.
The universe is huge but it is easy to think you are the centre of it. It tends to be what we all do. Reality is it was here before you and will be here after you. We are all just looking at it and trying to make sense of the experience.
But if you happened once already then why is it impossible for you to not happen again? Maybe you will come back as a bacteria or a fish. If you're lucky you may even return as a little bird and sit on someone's shoulder

No matter what, the club (authority figure) has always done the right thing...

Maybe you could start by taking a hiatus from online rugby league forums? Just an idea...

I agree that Sivo needed a rocket.

However, dropping him when we need wins on the board, and the team conceded 41 points last week...puzzling timing.

Sivo hasn't scored a try in 2 years that any other winger in the nrl or nsw cup wouldnt have scored.

Zac Cini would have scored those 2 tries that Sivo scored last week - and Simo will score any that Sivo would have this week.

Our CEO may be disappointed however that it wont hit as hard for our Fijian neighbours..

Wayne Bennett... no, not realistic imo.
Coaching Director... a must-do appointment if we don't go deeper than Finals Week 2 this season. It will be a signal there is no extension coming, and provide some continuity for whoever the club attracts to take over from end 2025 (or early if BA walks earlier).
Blaize in the 2s... fair enough I reckon, he'll be better for the experience and has a future.
Sivo to feel disappointment and improve his effort areas... an admission the guy's a lazy f**k, and coach has rightly had enough.
We aren't doing anything different... well yes, that's probably the problem Brad!
Expects better effort... same as last week, and the week before. Don't we all Brad!

He is easily the least articulate coach in the NRL and I can assume a massive westy who shops barefoot at the local IGA. It used to be Maguire but our guy takes the cake.

Look I get it, he has lifted us from the cesspool but I also sense a hint of arrogance and he basically admitted that he sounded like he was. Don't get me wrong, I like arrogance, when it's justified but using his words it’s a results driven business and the results have been at best - good not great.

Should we as a club accept just being 'good' in a 36 year drought?

No prizes for guessing my thoughts.

BA is in the Paul Langmack category for coaches imo

He has had majority of his success with a spine consisting of
Moses,Gutherson,D.Brown, Mahoney. And Jnr along with RCG.
That's a very good spine and two high quality pigs upfront. What type of success would people expect with that core? I don't think he has over achieved. 2019-2023 was our best roster in a very long time.
In the previous 5yrs he made the finals once.

That is the thing.
We ARE a big club. Of all the Sydney clubs, we have the absolute most potential to be by far the biggest by a long way.
Huge supporter base. Huge catchment of juniors. The most members of any Sydney team. Great stadium. Great city.
Everything is set up for us. The missing link has been the management of the club as a whole.
It is absolutely unacceptable that we have not won a comp in 37 years with the resources and wealth we have.
It's such a shame that we have been run by muppets that whole time. f**king self entitled muppets to start with, and now clueless muppets.

Hes very calm. I wonder why he has had such limited success as a head coach. Speaks highly of BA and sounded genuine not a bloke after his job. Yep impressive.
