Didn't think we would win today but didn't think we would get smashed like this, when I heard it had been raining then I knew it would be even tougher. But then the injuries and dumb penalties we just capitulated after about 15mins and didn't put in for the remainder.

We've played pretty much at the level I'd expect for a side without a hooker or five eighth. Poor execution and a lack of kicking game have hurt us at times and we've played really well at times. Exactly as you'd expect from a side that's two spine players off being a quality one.

This arvo is an aberration based on having 30% of the footy.

Doesn't excuse how awesome our defence was last year to how crap it's become this year.

We are awful in defence a shadow of what we were last year.

Our 1 and 7 were on the field for the entire first half when we were battered to a bloody pulp all over the entire field.

No we aren't. We struggle with linespeed at times because we miss IDG and Peats in that regard (and Kaysa is a pretty rubbish defender comparatively), and Scott hasn't provided what he did last season but we're not awful in defence. Patchy yes, awful no.

A hulking 60-80 min prop, a good hooker and probably another gun back rower because for me Tepai is seriously pissing me off, all this talk and his actually hardly improved. Or even just another prop.

Our forward pack and our dummy half is simply not good enough. Our backs are fine, Moses I am not sure about but we will see surely his an upgrade on this?

Tepai has not one line break all season. For a guy who plays a lot of minutes and is meant to be the next big thing that is pretty terrible. How many other backrowers playing a lot of minutes would have a stat like that? Terribly over rated

Well i think I'd forget everything that happened in the second half, but the damage done in the first half was really disappointing, but in many respects not surprising. We struggle with competing for possesion against potential Top 4 Teams when they play really well.

The biggest issue to address is why we get ourselves in a position to not be able to compete possesion wise against decent teams. Until we fix that we won't see a genuine contender anytime soon.

So I am not then only one who thinks his a waste of space in our starting 13?

He doesn't impact a game at all and I cannot remember the last time he stood out and did something memorable.
