Now moving on, how do we get this club back on the straight and narrow without having unelected people running the club, like the 2 of the 3 EGM requests want, or getting the NRL in charge, (I mean who else will have candidates ready to go for the 3rd EGM proposal)

Best candidates get the gig simple as that. Best qualified etc. no factions etc, pick on merit.

This is the problem that needs to be overcome. Could a motion be passed at the EGM to waive the requirement of the 3 years voting membership? It needs to go.

So the current board needs to get the f**k out, and all previous board members need to stay the f**k out. A completely new board with none of the cancers of the past being anywhere near it. Not even associated. I'm guessing the NRL could refuse to register them?

We all understand there has to be significant changes in the make up of the board responsible for our proud club.

The frustration for people on this forum like MITS, Ifr33k and others that have been involved in junior league clubs, is that probably the most important issue addressed at meetings is budget and outcomes

It is actually very difficult to understand how the cap was miscalculated so badly and how employees from Seward, DA et al did not do their job properly and report in true fashion what was going on. To see them now make statements to convict the club is nauseating

The club could do worse and adopt strategies employed at junior clubs and get people with that sort of knowledge on board, yes I know there would be superior business man etc, but FMD we need to act quickly and sensibly

Unlike you who does nothing but complain and carry on, on a forum where you definitely won't make any difference. I said that all candidates are willing to do the job, because that is what a candidate is, someone that applies.

I totally agree in what you meant though, I was being pedantic..

I think it'll be tough to find suitably qualified people willing to step up that don't have some form of agenda.
