Most clubs have players out or carrying injuries that late in the year. But it is rare to play a FB with a broken foot and a halfback needing a shoulder recon.

I think you just don't hear about most of them. Consider all the guys who get injured during the year and then come back. Most of them aren't 100% when they return, and never get to 100% by the end of the season. But the clubs tend to keep it dark.

Plenty of our players in Key Positions have room to improve. Nathan played half the year with 1 arm, tell me he won’t be better.

I don’t really care about windows, curtains or sliding doors.

I just look at the team and see who I think will improve, we have a lot.

But also with the players you're losing it'll be harder on the blokes who are still there. A large part of a player's form is the opportunities provided by his team. In a stronger team everyone gets more opportunities to look good (e.g. more one-on-one chances in attack) and fewer chances to suck (e.g. one-on-one chances in defence). In a weaker team the ratio is obviously skewed the other way.

Obviously younger guys like Cleary are near certainties to keep improving, but it might not be evident because salary cap pressure means he'll be playing in a weaker team.

The only player that we’ve lost that will have any real effect our performance is Burton. Having said that, Burton leaving puts Critta closer to the action, who, in my opinion is a player who will go up another level.

Capes and momo are both solid reliable players but they didn’t really have a great say on how we perform. We will replace them without too much trouble.

I’m super excited to see how May and Tago go, they have been awesome at level they have played so far. They are very capable of stepping up.

Spencer is a beast and he will get more game time this year, I expect him to make his mark this year.

I don’t really know how this relates to Windows, but I think we are in a great position moving forward and I can see no reason why we won’t continue to improve.

The doomsdayers are at it again. One loss is all it takes. How many games have we lost in the last two years. Sure we have lost some very good players. I am VERY confident we will do well again this year and challenge for the premiership. Some of you , not all need to take a deep breath and trust the processes and coaching staff. We will be fine!

Where did I say we aren't capable of winning the comp? Just need a good injury run.

No team gets better and better. The window gets bigger or smaller. Sometimes it shuts completely. The strongest clubs like Melbourne and Easts have the biggest windows and if they do ever shut it's only for a single season. Other clubs like Wests (and Parra pre-2019) might have to wait years for their premiership window to open briefly.

Your window peaked last year and you were lucky enough to win. There were at least five other teams who were also a chance of winning, as there is most years. Parra's window peaks this year and we will also need some luck to win it (as does every premier). Even if you make the top four you need some luck on the day. Two evenly matched teams might as well be a coin toss.

I try to make it a rule not to visit Sydney and it’s surrounds, however if I can find a hazmat suit I may just do that.

It is unknown at this stage whether Penrith's premiership window is closing. Or not. That is a fact.

Who knew at the beginning of the 2021 season that Burton would make a great centre. In fact gain the 'centre of the year' at the Dally M's.

That Mitchell would lose 6 games or so (exact amount I can't recall) in 2021 for Souths.

Nor that Penrith would gain TPJ for games at the business end of the season.

Or the chooks would have such a dreadful season with injuries either.

Already in the game I've currently watching Wade Graham has gone off with an ankle injury.

The list possibilites for this season, know no end.
