Taka is not international standard. He only made the NZ team cause everyone went and played for Tonga and Samoa. Edwards is a better player IMO.

Well, there were always going to be some good players miss out round 1 I guess. But BA has planned for an entire pre season on what he wants to roll out and I’ll back him.

If Taka persists in rushing out of the line and missing his target from the 2nd row againt the Panthers, we'll have no hope. If he can't stop doing it, drop him. Unless of course he throws enough sweet passes from there that his attack outweighs the defensive lapses he has shown at centre.

He defended the way he did because that’s how he was coached to defend. Huge blokes can’t slide in the outside backs. They need to jam against numbers because the alternative is to get beaten with footwork.

At edge forward it’s a lot easier. You just plant your feet until the ball goes past you and then you turn and push out in cover.

It's probably not saying much Pou but I have learned more about RL reading your posts than listening to the likes of Gus and AJ. I'll keep mt eye out for that and thanks.(even if it turns out that that is just one of Take's traits).

We edge it but not a lot in it...

50/50. JFN over Scott, CHN over Taka, hit Matagi and Evans over McKendry and Leota.

I think the forward batter will be fantastic, but if we can match them, we should come out in top as we have the better backs.

Arthur agreed that he likes his forwards to play with plenty of aggression, but that he'd been working on them being a bit smarter about it. Could that be why Edwards hasn't been named this week?

BA may simply have been suggesting that he wanted his forwards to spend less time licking their balls and sniffing the forwards arseholes and killing sheep.

Right, but the fact is he did get picked and Kenny Edwards didn’t. Despite the team being weak.

Edwards is one of my favourite players but I recognise Takairangi is a better player. However I reckon Edwards is better than Matagi, who is in the team.
