The no TV thing in Australia is so Arrogant... Makes me want to turn my back on the NRL.. They are all worried about the NRL brand but not rugby league in general.. This is why less people are going to games!!

Sell??? If their was any monetary value eurosport would be contractually obliged to show it in its entirety. I think fox sports and nine had clauses to show no league during the RUWC, therefore the potential suiters would have been thin so they handed it over to eurosport to carry the bbc fees for zero return!

Given the RU world cup overlapped both NRL and Superleague finals (which were shown in their entirely), conspiracy RU clause is unlikley

@AndrewVossy @paulmac_78 @falconpunch89 @Foxtel No promises Vossy but last minute talks taking place in UK tomorrow to over-ride decision.

Not sure who Matt Fisk is... random bloke or involved in SL?

Quick Google search shows according to Linkin profile he works with betting agencies currently from a rugby league background. Anyway, at least something might happen!

Huh? The NRL Grand Final was played after the start of the RWC.

The bullsh*t continues from foxtel/eurosport. Can't even get their stories straight.

http://community.foxtel.com.au/t5/S...-Matches-2015/m-p/97938/highlight/false#M6439

"Our programming team have investigated this further with the EuroSports. They have advised that they were going to have the rights to game 1 and 3 but it seems they've missed out. Only game 2 will be airing."

Foxtel sport package cancelled, when asked why, told all 3 levels I went through due to no coverage of the Kiwis vs England in league!
Probably won't effect much.

Anyway back to the footy...

This warning that australia could slip to 3rd in the RLIF rankings im gonna take with a pinch of salt...we're 400pts behind the top 2...in my head a 3-0 win should put us up around 800pts to nz/oz 900+..we need to win this series, the next 4nations and the next world cup to be anywhere near top spot.....and i think every england fan woukd agree before you lot jump on us for having a false ranking

I'm not up to speed re: the relationship between Fox and Eurosport and how that works, but the RLEF confirm that Fox is at fault here. They hold the rights and are the ones pulling the strings.

Not double checked it with foxtel yet, but this seems promising.

Rugby League fans around the world will be able to follow all the drama and action from the England v New Zealand International Series thanks to agreements reached between The RFL, Pitch International and a host of international broadcasters.
The three-game series, which starts on Sunday November 1, will see England take on New Zealand in games all over the UK, including a showpiece fixture at The Stadium at Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park in London.

The RFL and Pitch International have reached agreement with the following international broadcast partners:

Australia
Fox Australia will show the Series exclusively live on Fox Sports.

Asia
Eurosport will show the Series exclusively live throughout Asia.

USA
The Next Generation Sports Network will show the Series exclusively live in the USA through their NGSN platform.

Middle East and North Africa
OSN will show the Series exclusively live on the OSN network.

What a load of BS it is not listed on fox anywhere. Why the hell do they leave it to the last minute every single time and also pissed off at the contempt which the australian media treats this sport. And ill throw in the ARLC they have made no visible effort to promote this series despite the nrl ppayers involved

What ever happened to "for the good of the game" and what happened to their lofty promises of increased focus on internationals. Its late october ffs amd there is not one international in the southern hemisphere. Going backwards at a fast rate imo

Nice story.. gives hope... but I'm nervous till the TV guide changes.. Steve Mascord is right.. International Rugby League should fight for NRL sponsor's... Dog eat Dog in the fight for respect for the international product!!
