Farah and thoughts on him...

It wasn't one of his finer games, our attack was so pedestrian it never troubled the Storms defence which also helped to contain Farah.

Save for Simona we have absolutely nothing at the moment when the ball spreads past the middle.

To running 5/8th's in the halves and a forward pack being nullified by the refs allowing Melbourne to do as they pleased in the ruck.

That all added up to no chance no matter how much Robbie put in sadly

Not wrong about the Storm in the ruck.. it was horrible watching it .. everyside does it but fmd u could make a coffee while they are getting of the tackled player.

Protected species that lot from down south of the border, when you have three of the best players in the world and a coach who bitch and whinge when things dont go there way its easy to see why refs are influenced and intimidated by them with favourable decisions.

That may all be true, but we were dreadful, they were scoring at will.
I know we have injuries, but a backline full of forwards was never going to work & every opposition team will win that battle.
Just not sure about Potters decisions on who plays where? Looks very much like Sheens, in that he plays players out of position & will not change it, no matter what. FMD, his career is on the line & he still persists with it?

You really do have to wonder if he is the bloke to take us forward?

Its like 2 tackles.. they get the bloke on the ground then make a 2nd effort to spin him around ... fmd its not hard to police it... once on the ground the tackles over and just penallise this 2nd effort bullshit.... its just frustrating and ugly to watch . We also seem to be the only side geeting called back if we walk ofthe mark... Inglis gets 4 mtres every tackle and always gets away with it

That is true.

Though it seems that teams who run with vigour and fight in tackles get away with it.

We were getting away with a lot when we rolling through teams early on.

Momentum plays a huge part in on field decisions whether that is right or wrong

Cameron Smith should have been pinged 5-6 times last night, he has perfected the art of sliding a players legs around in a tackle effectively the tackled player has to get up of the ground facing the wrong direction , then turn around to play the ball, a couple of the ones he got away with last night were unbelievable, any other player would have been pinged off the park. The was a marked difference in the calls re tackled players moving off the mark, almost as if only one of the refs was calling it

How many times to do you morons need to be told? We're over the second tier cap, we not getting any salary cap dispensation so we cannot bring any new players into the first grade side that aren't already part of the top squad. Prior to the injury crisis, Potter replaced like with like.

Farah out? Luani comes in.
Anasta out? Austin comes in.
Tedesco out? Rowe comes in.
Lawrence out? Lulia comes in.
Simona out? Lulia comes in.

Every time Potter has had to replace a player his first instinct was to go for reserve that plays the same position.

Seriously, it wouldn't matter who the coach is, they'd have the same problem.

Exactly, further, players outside the top 25 get paid match payments and that money comes out of the second tier cap.

The NRL Should consider allowing clubs to replace players in the top 25 squad (so long as their salary is less than the player they replace)

Because right now, if we were fully fit, we'd have a 23 man squad, because Fulton has retired and Koroibete has left the club.

That would take pressure off the second tier cap as well.

It was a pleasure to watch Farah make himself look like a fool when he tried to milk the penalty and was ruled to have dropped the ball!
Just shows what sort of bloke he is..............(proven liar as well)...... Lol!

obvious troll is obvious.

Pressure is showing, while he had a reasonable game tonight the decision before half time to take a shot, for one ,we were twelve down and hadn't really looked like making a try scoring chance, and two, our regular kicker had gone down with an injury, bloody ridiculous decision. At least try to give your side a chance!

There was no time on the clock - better off taking the two (Moses is a pretty good kicker in his own right, despite the shank) than trying to score a try off one play against perhaps the best defensive side in the comp.

Totally agree.
