Quade Cooper would be wasting his time to stick with the Wallabies. They have no chance at all of winning the 2011 World Cup and it will likely be one of the Wallabies' worst campaigns in current form is anything to go by.

Yep I said at the start of the thread that the Waballies will come 4th in the 2011 WC at best. The incentive the play in the WC is not the auto boner that the purists might like you to think.

Unfortunately the same would strike true with parra as well. Hopefully, he looks at our team based on what it is on paper, not by our performance and attitude.

If we have Robson as our 7 next year then we are going to be in similat strife.

He has no vision, pace, kicking game or passing ability - but he can tackle, he was owned by a 19 year old in the Tigers game and has consistently shown why he is seen as a back up. The NYC has no stand outs in the halves, off to the auction rooms or hope that Murray or someone comes out of the blocks. The roster is good enough if we have someone to push it around the park, just don't expect Robson or Morts to do that.

Mate, I will keep saying this, we have BRAD MURRAY, who is by far the best play-maker in the NYC. As I have said, and as many Roosters fans have said, if it weren't for Mitchell Pearce, Brad Murray would have already graduated to first-grade.
We are more than set with this guy for next season, and he will be our long-term option if we do enough to keep him.

Sorry, but seriously, that is a hell of a wrap.
That good eh? I'd like to run a pole on how many had heard of him before we signed him.

Trust me, I've been watching him since last year; he is an absolute star.
Like I've said, the even bigger wrap on him is that he would already be the Roosters halfback for first-grade if not for Mitchell Pearce.
Trust me. He is that good.
He may not adapt to first-grade well initially, but that is why we just have to help ease him into it and let him do his thing.

I dont know too much about individual players in Toyota Cup (could prob only name a handful TBH) but Murray was one of the few i did know about. That doesnt make him a star by any means but he is def one that people would have heard of more than others

yeah i reckon people are getting a bit ahead of themselves here - and just to clarify, by a bit, I mean way f'n far ahead

how long does it take a halfback to be solid in NRL? ... even if the guy is the next andrew johns, its gonna take a while to find his feet .... I don't have high hopes for next year

Yeah I agree.
But what I am saying, is that we don't have to worry about any deficiencies next year in the no 7. He can kick and pass beautifully, as long as he fills his role and we stick by him we will be fine.

he can kick and pass beautifully in NYC ... NRL is quite a step up

hey I haven't seen him - he might be the best 20 yr old ever and will step in and boss all our lazy bums around and get them working together .... I think its a big ask tho

I hope he's good enough to push Morts out of first grade.
6. Humble
7. Murray/Cooper

9. Mitchell/MK

14. Mitchell/MK

Then once Mitchell builds up some muscles we can give MK and Morts away to the dogs.

Move aside Ozzie I just made the predictions that will save 2011 and 2012.

It doesnt take much to push mortz out of 1st grade - Robson/KK manged to do it.

Didn't you hear? He didn't get pushed out...Just 'rested'

RESTED

It's called a form slump.
Honestly, KK was worse than Morts this year. Robbo hasn't been much better.
All of our halves this year have been crap, good in some tiny parts but crap.

AND if it hadn't been for Grayson, Tom Dooley would have been in Tennessee.
