All sorts of possibilities here

We have even seen people within the club leak info directly to the press

Even catastrophically damaging leaks by some individuals

Even here we have regular leaks from people within the club

I recently read somewhere that Todd Greenberg and the Kelly boy's father are went to school together at Kings. This makes me think that's the reason why Greenberg has had a particular personal interest in this matter, doing a favour for an old school mate, those posh private school ties bind strongly. Well that's my conspiracy theory, but like everyone else here, I'm sick of the NRL hipocracy, which we have become accustomed to.

I note the other comments about Alan 'the Parrott" Jones. Good on the Sharks if we can get some leverage from the Parrott, who is only motivated by his personal public standing and popularity of his radio program. At the moment he probably thinks he's running NSW.

Fifita Fears End Of NRL Career, Considers Rival Codes

An unrepentant Andrew Fifita claims he has had talks with Cronulla officials and his management about a move out of the NRL, amid fears one more indiscretion could mean the end of his rugby league career.

The Sharks premiership winning prop was banned from the Australian squad for the Four Nations due to his support for convicted killer Kieran Loveridge, who was a childhood friend.

In an emotional and at times confusing interview on Sky News on Tuesday night, Fifita said he was being forced out of the NRL. He also continued to deny he had done anything wrong in wearing a note of support for Loveridge on his strapping in several NRL games this season.

"I don't know if my contract is going to be ripped up tomorrow. I don't know if my contract is going to be ripped up in six months," Fifita said.

"I feel like I am on my last chance with the NRL. I know they they all know that.

"I am thinking the worst at the moment. I have one more mess up and I am out, my contract is up.

"So I have already approached my management team and I have had talks with the (Sharks) CEO (Lyall Gorman) about negotiating elsewhere in different codes."

In August Fifita was issued a police warning for consorting with criminals. The matter is under investigation by the NRL's integrity unit.

In the interview on Sky News' Jones and Co. hosted by Alan Jones with panellists Miranda Devine and Mark Latham, Fifita said he was being made an example of because of his support of Loveridge.

Loveridge has alleged links to the Lone Wolf bikie gang and is serving a 10-year prison sentence for the coward punch killing of Thomas Kelly in Kings Cross in 2012.

"It is wrong what he did," Fifita said.

"I have said it in the past I will say it again on TV, it took me two and a half years to forgive him.

"I haven't spoken to him since the police came to my door step, it is really tough.

"I have talked to his mother and let her know.

"I know he is inside and he keeps saying 'please, I am sorry for doing this'.

"(But) there is nothing wrong being done here, they are trying to make a fool of myself, someone high profile.

"Why didn't my best mate get done when we went to the jail. I don't know why I just got done."

Confusing? I guess it doesnt fit the standard grovelling confession and apology for heinous crime he didnt commit and was falsely accused of ,so I guess that would confuse those wanting to justify their own self righteous witchhunt.

Who?

I don't know

And neither do you

The truth is the source of leaks are almost impossible to uncover unless someone blows the whistle

Rothfield

Leaked the "horse drugs" comment to the world.

If he was a true shark, he would've let that go through to the keeper.

They are probably focussing on the bikies and players link. Looks like they've just lumped him in with the norman et al crowd.

He'll be right. We might just have to organise a couple of weeks over that them thar Thai NRL Rehab Rooms. Get his head in the right space. Tell the world all the fluffy Mitchell Pearce - Dari-arse type stories and proclaim "I'm cured of what ever it was" and yes Bobs your Uncle.

Move on to the next scandal involving someone else.

When you get 3 warnoings then contract ripped up, would you hang around? His 2nd "rap" is trumped up, what is to say that the 3rd wont be & during a critical period to get a gig somewhere else.
If you were his manager you would advise one of two ways. Sue the NRL & have all libel material apologised for or , just split.
I'm guessing he will split too. Will be in SL in a matter of weeks.

On the field a massive massive loss....off the field by far the biggest risk / loose cannon we have at the moment. Would love him to stay but only upside of losing him would be plenty of coin to secure bird, val, benny etc.
