Listen you epods the finals series has deterioted over the past 3 years - 2005/2006 and this year. Wake up to this actual fact. To say i haven't watched any games so how can i comment is plain stupid as all you have to see is a few so called highlights and read some articles and ask others who have watched the game to come to a valid conclusion.

You epods vote in elections here and most likely haven't a clue about any of the policies let alone understanding such matters as fiscal policies and economic indicators etc etc.

Wake up from your slumber and protest against the NRL anti Sydney stance and demand a two group comp - sydney teams in one and out of sydney teams including the relocated souths in the other comp.

Reclaim the comp - get rid of giddy up gallop and go

While making such a comment without seeing any of the games is quite stupid, I tend to agree that this finals series has been piss poor to say the least.

We have had only 2 competitive games the entire series. Dogs vs Cowboys and Warriors vs Parra in Week 1, and both these games were overruled by shocking refereeing decisions.

The broncos and bunnies were utterly useless, as were the dogs and warriors in week 2. This week will no doubt see 2 more towel ups with Thurston out and the Eels genuinely outclassed by the Storm.

Short of parra pulling off a miracle and taking an early lead against the storm, or the NRL giving the Cowboys a tip of the hat to get away with spear tackles, its going to be one boring ass finals series until the GF rolls around.

A Manly vs Storm grand final will salvage this series, any other combo could turn out to be a whitewash.


As for the the Dogs vs Roosters in 2004, it is the only grand final we have had in 7 years that has actually gone down to the wire. The rest were over by the 60-65th minute.

in terms of playing performance last years final series was sh*tty but i've enjoyed this years. a few good games, the usual 1 v 8 blow out which is expected but i've had no worries with the PLAYERS performances in the finals series.

now as for the refs. yep, worst finals series ever

Dogs v Roosters was a terrible game. Neither team could hold the ball.
