McGegor needs to earn his cash now. If he can get the team up and jag a win week 1, despite all the negative press the last few weeks,then anything can happen. Cows rode momentum all the way to the GF after beating the Sharks in the first week last year.

This is where a coach earns his cash, and if he can lead us to a win against the Broncos or Warriors, that will stop the calls for his head.

Agree..but Cowboys gained momentum and made their run and had form way before the finals from towards the bottom of the table.. opposite to the Dragons. As I said lets hope and support a miracle.
Speaking of salaries wonder what Mary is on...500K?. They say that is average for a 1st grade coach. Not bad when you pass on the work to others. Defence & attack game plans, stats, HPU, recruitment, player team selections. No wonder his job is safe.

Cows lost 5 out of their last 6 games to limp into 8th place after we gifted them a spot in the semis.

They only started their run after beating the Sharks first week of the finals.
