Well, the competition for wing spots is very strong. Maybe Flanno will start the season with Sloan but some of those other guys will be very hungry to get into the top team.

Also interesting that despite the rumors Finau is still with us.
We have too many wingers imo we need to move one on considering Lawson is coming on board. Finau seems most likely as no club wants Ravalawa.

Ranieri's Deli was a favourite haunt for us for many many years.

Peter and the family always super hospitable and always offering something for the patrons to taste.

No such luck finding anything remotely similar out in the Hawkesbury
Here is a write up of Ranieri's Deli - sandwiches look scrumptious -

Brian Smith had 2 very average halves pairing, made 2 Grand Finals vs a QLD origin team.

Gee you’re a bit harsh 56/66. ‘92 Goldthorpe and Peter Coyne, I wouldn’t say they were average. ‘93 Goldthorpe and Tony Smith. Well Smith was average, I’ll agree with you on that. Especially with Phil Blake on the bench. Blake should been there and Smith in the stands.

By gawd ! He would had been better keeping his mouth shut . His astronomical salary was one of the very reasons why Atkinson left .

And if he is genuine about what he is saying then he - Hynes , could had taken a cut in his fee so as the sharks could offer Atkinson more .

As a direct result of the shark’s highly paid players ( and in Hynes case , he is not delivering value for money ) they simply could not match the Big Red V offer .

Sad for Cronulla supporters however very good fortune for the Dragons . Welcome aboard Atko !

Troy Hodges was 7, and Peter Coyne was 6. They weren’t exactly a halves pairing to die for, but they did their job as best they could. I surely didn’t get off my seat thinking, Here we go. Noel Goldthorpe came into the FG team in 1993 and was an improvement, but he wasn’t elite enough to win us the 1993 GF against Langer and Walters.
St George over achieved under a great coach in Brian Smith, Smithy was tremendous in rebuilding crap teams.
