He was laying good football at Manly before being injured. How old is he?

A big smile on my face! I'm so happy we signed Lodge.
Looking at him from the outside, the guy still has a very good go forward game. Since the 6 again rule came in though, I thought he really struggled with his lack of mobility in defence.I know he isn’t a bad pickup in terms of ability, but I have so many concerns on the signing, from culture perspective mainly. Not a guy I ever wanted in the red V

There must be a reason why the man bounces from club to club though. I'd think his Roosters and Manly contracts would have been peanuts, yet both let him go.
Flanno is the coach who can bring out the best in Lodge. This is his last chance to earn a lucrative NRL contract.IMO he’s far from a marquee player, more of a security signing to support our middle forwards. IMO he would be surplus at Manly and Roosters who are strong in the middle rotation.
He’s a tough uncompromising forward and IF used it will be for short stints to assist our post contact meters.
If some of our juniors excel he may not see any FG, either way a smart economical purchase
Yep. Welcome to the mighty Red V. Here's your chance to be a bit of a leader to the young blokes if you think you can be and want to be. It's up to you.Well there’s no doubting the man has had a chequered history , however he has given a 100% effort in the past and will continue to do so . Best of luck to the man and welcome to the Big Red V .

Thanks for the heads up, I listen to the Bye Round podcasts regularly but didn’t listen to this one maybe because I had a preconceived idea of Matt Lodge but I just listened to it because he could potentially be a Dragon in 2025. Another great interview by James Graham & I believe he could be a great signing. Yes he stuffed up to a greater degree than most but a person can change & anyone that without any funfair will pay for an up & coming players surgery in my view deserves another chance. He has had a few clubs but continues to carrying the baggage from his past. There are plenty of examples of players doing the wrong thing but have been forgiven but he isn’t one. i totally support a no-dhead policy but believe we should give this bloke a chance to show he has changed & let’s see what he can do for us. I for one am happy with his signing & Flanno knows his potential & has played this very well IMO !I know someone has posted this already but if you got a spare hour or 2 it is a good watch. Noone is perfect, he is a Dragon now and it won't be long before he is upgraded to top 30. Lodge or Lawrie I know who I would rather tackle. Molo and Lodge 2 aggressive props that won't get bent back
Link?Lodge hadn't signed and won't be signing .
As quoted by Flano on Radio this morning.
Only spoke to him.
