What miracles are those HoD, our For & Against, 22 matches and we have not even scored 400 points whereas 5 teams below us have, while our brittle middle and on line defense continues to leak the fourth larger points in the comp. Our coach is unable to instill a killer instinct into our players, this is borne out in our inconsistency and inability to ice close matches.

It is the BOD that appointed Flanagan to bring some quality here so of course they support him. Our coach has failed miserably as our recruiters continue to bash their heads against a brick wall trying to lure a marquee or two. All have said no thanks Mr Flanagan.

Its not Flanagan they are saying no too its the 12 years of shiite board with no plan or even interest in how the team performs, the Board have become worse in the last 15 years since Bennett's appointment, (which by the way was a total fluke with Roosters pulling out of the deal with Bennett at the last minute), not even Bennett or Bellamy could get this team playing consistent football, Flanagan has done really well at least we are winning against the Shiite teams, something we have not done since 2018.

Whats hard is that every loss gets death-ridden so hard in here.. literally end of world stuff.. surely this week is the best any dragons fan has felt in years.

My suspicion is dragons fans have been hurt so so bad over the years, that its some sort of self-defence mechanism.. but I also think its a fault common in most human beings.. ppl arent good at noticing or adjusting their trendlines to whats changing, its the same thing that happens in all sorts of other political/social areas.
Agreed Rev. Every loss has the team and club ripped to pieces in here. It's almost like US politics - a world of extremes.

Like you, I think it's been going for so long that people just don't know how to adjust their expectations. Starved of success for so long that it's become an all or nothing scenario for most supporters.

We've also beaten 4 of the top 8 which was not a thing in past seasons.

Look how many 40 and 50 burgers Bulldogs had put on them last year and compare this year how many games they have lost by more than 6 points. Defensive structures and players take time to adjust to new systems over pre-seasons. The Melbourne game showed how attitude to detail and defence and not dropping your heads when making a mistake or conceding points will net positive results. We are 10 wins with 5 games to go. Over the years, my interest in football come August is meh, so to be in the mix for a top 8 spot is super exciting.

It is this for sure (and im hoping for improvements next year).. but.. its also Gould firing and hiring staff and players in the background... Ciraldo has a massive advantage over Flanno.. Flanno is trying to work miracles with his c-grade roster..

The big one Gus pulled though was stealing Chrichton while Penrith were taking too long.. that was a deadset masterstroke.. virtually all of the points yesterday came off the back of him.. freaky stuff.. without that the Raiders probably win comfortably..
