When you turn up late with your 50 cents and realise that everyones covered everything and then some.

All I'll say is that I'm not a big fan of Kearney the coach but I would not like to see him sacked this year or the next. We've had enough of coaches. I was actually going to say 'we've been spoilt for coaches' but I don't think spoiled is the word.

Yep he sux right now to the maximum but I wouldn't reach for the axe. Even if we finish last this year.

We’ve had two decent NRL coaches in our history (Anderson and Cleary) and neither of them are exactly world beaters. I suppose you could add Monie too but that was only the club’s first season and a half.
Look at the rest:
Endacott
Graham
Kemp
McLennan
Elliott
Iro
McFadden
Kearney

Would other clubs have done much better with that lot?

The big question is, "what other clubs WOULD haev employed that lot?"

Matty Elliott fooled a few people, but everyone knew he was a clusterf**k - he's the ocaching equivalent of celebrating signing Adam Blair, everyone knows Kearney is too and not clear how he could fool anyone... the rest are hysterical, McFuddles is a reasonable assistant, but OMG

It's a special group, no mistake - Anderson was the best, easily, but is only good for a few years, Ivan's middle of the road... which puts him second LOL

Surely by now the “buy local” syndrome has proved itself a dud.

Uncle Wayne supercharged the Kiwis *many* years ago, but we gave Mooks the credit and gave him all the power to create a Kiwis-Warriors hack job.

Wake up, ffs.

Thought I saw Kidwell next to Brad Arthur yesterday.

Hired Kearney with a 24% win percentage (under 50 for you guys).

Is a kiwi......

Cruel I know

There is something seriously tragic about hiring a coach who was a laughing stock with an awful record at their former club (though Kearney was something of a scapegoat at Paramatta - there were recruitment and management issues there which would have hobbled any coach) versus head-hunting a top coach from a successful team. It was an act of blind faith, or more correctly baseless, delusional faith. But what can you do if none of the good coaches want to come to your club?

Do we know they don't? Or do they want more than we are offering?
Let's buy one and see.

Who is out there?
Also is their not a salary cap coming in for coaching staff?

Bellamy retiring at end of next contract?

Toovey would have a stroke at our club, plus inherited a great team during his tenure.

Robinson wont leave Roosters money pit.

Seibold looks like a myth at the moment.

Wayne wont and must be near retirement or death.

Green had a couple of good years with JT, now not traveling as good.

Ricky has the Raiders humming this year, but after 1 game away from GF in 2016 went missing 17&18.

Maguire testing himself at the Tigers.

Well this is the point. Has the club been tight fisted in terms of paying proven performers? Sometimes that works but rarely.

Was Kearney signed and resigned because he was a cheap alternate to others?

I wonder if the story was correct back in 12-13 where Bellamy was ready to come but then Elliott bamboozled then with a PowerPoint presentation. I mean if that was true it is an indictment on our lack of smarts.

I don’t think it was Elliott’s doing, from memory the story goes along the lines of Bellamy saying yes I will come but will be honouring my storm deal so want this guy here for 1 year as an interim coach, and Scurrah said no it is now or never, so it turned into never

Coach of the year so far is Hasler.
Pretty poor squad to work with but has them competing extremely hard and resilient.
Imagine if we lost a star fullback or 7 half way through a game.

Even I’m amazed tbh, if we can hold onto 6th and then bring back Tom T, DCE, Walker and Taufua things could get interesting

Seems a fairly short sighted decision really doesn’t it.

Another question I have is what are the clubs facilities like in comparison to other clubs? Too often we see gun juniors who are completely ill prepared for first grade. What’s doing with that?

Who is coming to replace him?
Sorry Stacey isn't up to it as he is part of the current coaching staff and assume attacking coach.
