I am not sure I anyone is close to George, but would love to ask the question. "If SK was currently unsigned would he be seeking him to resign?"

The problem is SK is now a sunk costs to the club.
There is no accountability in front office for another terrible rushed decision.

It is very hard for people to admit their mistake and they normally double down on it.
Egos never help the situation either.

Also anyone know if any clauses in SK contract about performance eg winning record drops below x% he can be sacked?

Sure but seriously it is no fun watching you guys or gold coast being so bad.

Send him to Manly. Beg the NRL for Flanno, This year is OVER.

But this cannot continue, it is insanity, they look badly coached and play accordingly.

Cameron Smith captain coach, bloke needs a challenge, he has every record, anything is better than what is, the one thing is consistently bad.

hey look badly coached and play accordingly.

A shit team can play reasonably well if they have a good coach. If there is passion and a game plan good things can happen. Unfortunately, the warriors are a (really) shit team with a (really) shit coach. There is no prospect of success without significant change in those areas.

Good lord hopefully the Stacey ship has sailed. No way is he ready to be a first grade coach. And this club is on life support. You don’t give the keys to a rookie. It’s what has ballsed this club over and over.

The obvious choice if they were to change is Toovey.

What is Stephen Kearney's success rate as a coach now?

Surely the Warriors are doing major PR damage to the club by keeping him and losing.

I know a person closeish to Toovey. 4 to 5 years ago Toovey was desperate to coach the Warriors. He had just lost his job at Manly. Not sure that is still the case though.

The good coaches would see the Warriors as a great challenge but we seem to get rookies that need to start somewhere. Except for Monie and our current coach that had an abysmal record at Parra, we haven’t had an established coach come here. f**king good reason too

I'm not a lawyer (sadly) but I suspect the length of Kearney's contract won't be worth the paper its printed on once we have that wooden spoon in the trophy cabinet.

My completely baseless supposition is that a long contract like that is intended to as a show of confidence by club management. We believe in you Steven, you have our full support etc. You don't have to worry about your contract just get out there and bring home that premiership. But there will be a clause in there that says they can kick him to the curb if and when he completely fails to achieve the results expected of him. Which is happening now.

Let’s get Toovey - great entertainer! He was so close to getting the job a few years ago until SK entered the race.

Toovey is actually an accountant.

Toovey is the one I've wanted ever since he was gone from Manly. He's the perfect candidate.

Hand him the keys, anyone who isn't up to his standard off you f**king go.

Anyone else half expected a story to come out that Roger has asked for a release. I mean something to really top this horror show off... perhaps a salary cap breach and we are forced into letting Roger go (but we keep Bleh)

Speaking of Bleh, watched a bit of Wade Graham over the weekend. He’s a player you would pay a Bleh salary too. Lol, but we have 30m and 2 penalties Bleh ffs
